Actress Cheryl Hines, wife of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., appeared on The View to defend her husband. The interview quickly became tense as co-hosts questioned Kennedy’s qualifications to be HHS secretary and his history of spreading health misinformation. Hines referenced vaccine disagreements and defended his record, but her responses were met with skepticism from the panel and audience.
Donald Trump is hosting a $1 million-per-person candlelight dinner at Mar-a-Lago, organized by his super PAC, MAGA Inc. The funds will go toward next year’s midterm elections to back congressional candidates loyal to him. Despite Trump’s populist image, the guest list reportedly includes billionaires, lobbyists, and corporate donors, while many supporters continue to struggle financially.
Some of Trump’s loyal followers are accusing him of a scam involving collectible Trump-branded watches priced between $499 and $3,000. Many buyers say they never received their orders, with refund requests ignored. Trustpilot reviews show 57% one-star ratings, citing fake tracking numbers and unresponsive customer service. The watches, advertised as “Swiss made,” appear linked to a Wyoming shopping center.
Joe Rogan has criticized Trump’s mass deportation campaign, calling it cruel and unnecessary. He called it “horrific” to see longtime, law-abiding immigrants arrested in front of their children and argued that nonviolent immigrants who have worked and paid taxes for decades should have a path to citizenship. Rogan’s stance mirrors Democratic immigration policy, yet he endorsed Trump ahead of the 2024 election.
Trump lashed out over Time Magazine’s cover, which features him under the headline “His Triumph,” recognizing his role in the Israel-Gaza deal. Trump focused on the photo, claiming it made his hair look “disappeared,” calling it the “worst picture of all time,” underscoring his obsession with image over substance.
Trump and allies are reportedly panicking ahead of massive “No Kings” protests scheduled for this weekend. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy claimed the demonstrations are funded by “Antifa” or other shadowy groups, a claim that doesn’t hold up. The protests are organic, driven by genuine public outrage.
Some Trump voters are recognizing that life under his leadership hasn’t improved their finances. Social media posts detail frustration with rising grocery costs, insurance premiums, and utilities, with many pleading for Trump to take action.
Finally, Eric Trump claimed on Fox News that special prosecutor Jack Smith “planted” manila folders during the 2022 Mar-a-Lago raid. The timeline makes this impossible as the raid occurred in August 2022, while Smith wasn’t appointed until November.
