Russia has it under control. Von Schitzinpants was waiting for warmer temperatures and ‘it will go away’. Are the same people that believed that crock believe Satan and his elf Putin, when COVID came to town?

I saw a Reel by a man who spoke English with an accent who claimed that there was a huge crowd gathering in Russia where the crowd were protesting against Putin claiming that he only won 25% of the people’s votes. I haven’t heard anything else about this news and I’m wondering if there is any truth to it

Are you seriously looking for truth in Russian elections? Russian government is much more efficient than USA. The winner is decided before the election and the votes are used as confetti to celebrate the victory.

Putin's last presidential election was March 2024. Official results gave him about 88%. The opposition's protest then was "Noon against Putin," where people queued at polling stations at midday, including big lines at Russian embassies abroad. It was not a mass street rally.

• The 25% figure may come from 2011. After the 2011 parliamentary election, there were protests of tens of thousands in Moscow. Putin's United Russia party got only 24% in his own district, which is probably where a "25%" number could come from.
