Gay Jewish Republican Isn't Jewish and Married a Woman
Incoming Republican Congressman George Santos has come under scrutiny for lying about various aspects of his personal history, including his employment history, his educational background, and his Jewish ancestry. The latest revelation about Santos is that even though he ran his campaign as an openly gay Republican, he was recently revealed to have been married to a woman for three years. It is unclear whether Santos is bisexual or if there is some other explanation for his marriage, but his history of lying makes it difficult to believe anything he says. Santos' claims of Jewish ancestry, including his assertion that his grandparents were Ukrainian Jewish refugees who fled Belgium to escape the Holocaust, have also been contradicted by genealogy records and interviews with experts. Republicans have to hold Santos accountable for his bevy of lies and it’s a shame he was able to win office before this could all come out.
Trump Demands Reinstatement and Suggests Overthrowing the Government
Donald Trump is now demanding reinstatement and suggesting that the government be overthrown. Trump posted to Truth Social, “‘The FBI and Twitter COLLUDED to elect Joe Biden.’ In other words, the 2020 Presidential Election was RIGGED & STOLEN. It all began a long time ago, they SPIED on my campaign, and tried to ‘RIGG’ the 2016 Election, but failed. Remember, our government is doing this, not a person or party. What should be done about such a terrible thing, or should we let someone who was elected by cheating and fraud stay in office and continue to destroy our Country?” Some wonder why Trump continues to speak this way and why he isn’t held accountable for it. Trump's behavior has not changed because he has not faced any consequences for his actions, including his role in inciting the January 6th Capitol riots. Maybe finally he will be held accountable in the form of criminal charges stemming from any one of the number of investigations he’s under.

Zelenskyy's Speech to Congress Was Good But Pretty Weird
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Washington DC this week, and during his visit, he spoke to Congress about the assistance the US has provided to Ukraine in its defensive war against Russia. The speech was well-received, with many applause lines and standing ovations. Many right-wingers were dismissive of Zelenskyy’s visit, believing the war to be too costly and taking the opportunity to cozy up to Russia’s Vladimir Putin. The speech touched on the issue of bipartisanship, with some Republicans, such as Matt Gaetz and Lauren Boebert, sitting visibly bored during the speech. Zelenskyy emphasized that the money provided by the US was not charity, but rather an investment in global security and democracy. The event concluded with a Ukrainian flag being opened up and displayed on the floor of the House.

Under Oath, Hannity Admits He Doesn't Believe Trump's Fraud Claims
Fox News host Sean Hannity admitted under oath in a deposition for Dominion Voting Systems' defamation lawsuit against his network that he did not believe the fraud claims about the 2020 election that he widely promoted on his show. Hannity hosted Trump's “kraken” lawyer Sidney Powell on his show. Lacking any evidence, Hannity asked Powell why Democrats were silencing whistleblowers who could prove there was election fraud. This revelation, along with others about what Fox News executives and hosts really believed, suggests that Fox employees knew they were spreading falsehoods about the election. Hannity's admission goes to show that many of the people who pushed Trump’s voter fraud lies didn’t actually believe the case they were making to the public.
