Name, family and wealth should never factor into any judicial matter either way.

I am not so stupid to believe that will ever happen. Have a hard time understanding why Hunter was investigated and Barron is off limits.

Come on 2027!

Trump is selling out the crooked sexually pervert Tate Brothers to protect slow Baron

Agree fairs, fair, but doesn't Congress have more important things to do? Congressional hearings should be for major, national issues. Not for looking into any family's dirty laundry.

When there’s a legitimate reason to question an adult member of any family in government it should be done. Congressional oversight should be cooperative between parties and name blind.

This is why USA is so screwed up. Our priorities are upside down. We now want the entire House of Representatives... 435 members to stop all the other priorities ruining the lives of its citizens. So they can investigate the son of the president to see if they can find some dirt on him. Hearings will become front and center so the rest of our demise can continue without interruption.

Politics has now become theater entertainment. Not a serious undertaking to fix what is broken, but cheap fodder for the press. So come November elections the heat will be off the real problem, Trump senior, and just picking on the kid. If that is the Dem approach for elections, good luck.

The innocent have nothing to hide. Barron Trump’s last name should not shield him from scrutiny. If he is not culpable in any association with the very culpable Tate brothers, then he need not fear. Whichever is the case, being named Trump should not put a person above the law.

Hey they went after Hunter Biden on totally bogus issues. The shoe is on the other foot now. It’s a pity that Trump started these vindictive investigations. I’m old enough to remember when Pres Carter’s brother tried to sell “Billie Beer” which seems so quaint now.

I remember “Billie Beer” too. When you consider the countless deplorable atrocities committed by the royal orange crime family, it’s like comparing a mass murderer to a kid shoplifting a candy bar.

33RR's avatar

Not that there was even anything wrong with selling Billie Beer.

Ahhh poor little #BarronT, Hey as we were taught growing up; be careful who you hang around with & talk abt 'Pay to Play' well #MrBarron you wanted to play so now it just may be time to "PAY" 🤣🙄🤣

"If little Jimmy jumped off the roof, do you have to too?" Or my Mom;s, "Lay down with dogs get up with fleas". Must not translate to European.

Barron’s grift and his connection with the Taint brothers must definitely be investigated. He could be a national security risk like his disastrous father Deranged Don.

When it comes to matters that the GOP has already done - Hunter’s investigation - there is no “either” the Democrats have to play the same game the Republicans are - much less the same rules -

Debra's avatar

The perfect precedent. Perhaps he could plea bargain like they did in the courts of the 50's 80's. Join the military in lieu of prosecution....

33RR's avatar

As we all know, the big difference is that there are legitimate reasons to investigate that weirdo Barron.

SomeKat on the Internet's avatar

Of course - he is an adult - the money is in the millions - the crimes of the Tates are horrific - he has information - time to get it -

Reggaemama's avatar

No surprises here. He's a Trump.

If you lie down with dogs,..you wake up with fleas.

Sabrina Wood's avatar

Well my dogs don’t have fleas and two of them sleep in my bed so not the best saying tho we get the gist 😂

If ICE can kidnap people off the street without a judicial warrant, imprison them without trial, deport them to another country, or murder them, Barron is fair game.

ruminator's avatar

Unlike those you mention, Barron will receive IN FULL his constitutionally guaranteed right to due process, you can count on it. Donald Trump's interference notwithstanding, no one wants to see a proper conviction overturned on a technicality.

Deli Lanoux's avatar

Barron is no innocent. If anything, he may be The Worst Yet among the Trumps & Co.

Debra's avatar

Dangerously quiet......mama's boy there.....

Jerry Bier's avatar

If Barron Trump is involved with the Tate brothers and there’s evidence to be had then it should be presented like it would be for any other person in this country. Sadly, unless the Democrats get control of Congress and the Senate, nothing will ever be done about it.

sheryl jeffries's avatar

Of course, he should be; the Tates are vile people, and his last name is Trump.

Dorinda's avatar

His last name shouldn’t matter. He should be compelled to testify.

I agree that this should be pursued by the new leadership in the house and committees next Jan.

But I don’t think it is near the top of their priorities for saving what’s left of democracy.
