DELUSIONAL: Kayleigh McEnany Claims She Never Lied...Because God

When Kayleigh McEnany became White House Press Secretary under Donald Trump, she committed to never lying to the American people from the podium. Immediately after making the pledge, McEnany broke her promise and made progressively bigger and bolder lies up until Trump was kicked out of office in January. Among the falsehoods from McEnany are gems like: COVID affects virtually nobody, Trump never downplayed the coronavirus, and that Trump is the most informed person on the planet with regard to threats to the nation. The lies accelerated after Trump lost the 2020 election, when McEnany had to continue stepping out to the White House podium to insist that Joe Biden and Democrats had rigged the election with voter fraud and that Trump would remain in power for another four years. The only White House press secretaries who can rival McEnany from the standpoint of lying are Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders, both of whom also served under Donald Trump.

McEnany is back in the news months after leaving her post because she spoke at a “Young Women’s Leadership Summit” hosted by Turning Points USA. The former press secretary revisited those comments she made her first day on the job and claimed to have lived up to her commitment. McEnany said, “I never did [lie]. As a woman of faith, as a mother of baby Blake, as a person who meticulously prepared at some of the world’s hardest institutions, I never lied.” So Kayleigh’s statements basically boil down to “I’m a Christian, therefore I can’t lie” which is her version of a get out of jail free card. Even if Kayleigh was presented with specific instances of telling lies to the news media to make the Trump look better, she would not own up to them. That’s because she only has to tell one more lie to cover up the previous lies. And the ultimate lie is saying she didn’t lie at all. Liars lying about not lying should come as no shock to us, but sadly Trump supporters hear comments like these from Kayleigh McEnany and get convinced that she performed her job with 100% honesty and integrity.

Trump 75th Birthday Party Looks Like Hostage Video

Donald Trump celebrated his 75th birthday yesterday at one of his golf clubs. The former president didn’t appear all that relaxed wearing his signature suit and surrounded by a bunch of men also wearing suits. Video surfaced from the event of attendees begrudgingly singing happy birthday to Trump in deeply unenthusiastic fashion. When it came time in the song to say Trump’s name, the crowd said “Mr. President” instead of Donald, which goes to show how deeply unfamiliar his guests were to him. Newsmax marked the occasion by sending a “reporter” to Huntington Beach, California to ask people to send Trump their birthday wishes. Supporters said things like “I hope I see him back” and “I hope with all this public hate going on, it’s not getting to him and he’s out there killing it on the golf course.” Trump’s birthday is an opportunity every year for his supporters and right-wing news outlets to suck up to him and they weren’t going to pass up on the opportunity.

Benjamin Netanyahu FINALLY Out as Israeli Prime Minister

Israel’s parliament finally approved a new coalition government to oust Benjamin Netanyahu from office after twelve years as prime minister. After a 60-59 vote, the Israeli Knesset selected Naftali Bennett, a former Netanyahu ally, to lead the country. Bennett was able to stitch together a coalition of members left and right who don’t agree much on policy but agreed that it was time to kick Netanyahu out of office. Bennett is not a member of the Likud party like Netanyahu is, but he is still certainly on the right side of the political spectrum. The New York Times reports, that “after his supporters cheered the announcement of his election, Naftali Bennett then exchanged a brief handshake with Mr. Netanyahu before walking to the rostrum at the front of the parliamentary chamber and taking the oath of office as prime minister.” The corruption allegations and recent flare ups with Palestinians were finally enough to convince the Knesset to oust Netanyahu from leadership. This was a giant leap forward in establishing peace in the region and, after twelve years, an opportunity to turn over a new leaf.
