Biden dropout debate EXPLODES: "Biggest DISASTER in party history"
In a lively debate on the future of Joe Biden's candidacy, political strategist Rachel Bitecofer and The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur discussed whether Biden has a viable path to victory against Donald Trump. Rachel, drawing on her political science background, acknowledged Biden's dire polling numbers but argued against replacing him due to logistical challenges and the risk of alienating core Democratic voters. Cenk strongly advocated for Biden's withdrawal, citing catastrophic polling and asserting that his decline makes victory impossible. Rachel countered by emphasizing the difficulty in significantly boosting another candidate's polling numbers given the party's current brand perception. The debate underscores deep divisions within the Democratic strategy, with both sides grappling with the urgent need to confront Trump's reelection threat
Trump softball Fox News interview STILL goes horribly wrong
Former President Donald Trump, emerging from a period of relative seclusion, made a notable appearance on Sean Hannity's Fox News program. Hannity's interview aimed to be supportive, yet Trump's responses often veered into self-contradiction and grandiosity. Despite Hannity's attempts to coax a vice presidential announcement, Trump deferred, citing ongoing considerations and a desire to time it strategically. Trump's remarks highlighted his contentious relationship with the media and his unyielding confidence, even amid past debate controversies and ongoing legal challenges.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump TERRIFIED, left wing wins UK, FRANCE!
Recent political developments in Europe may offer insights into the upcoming U.S. election in November. In the UK, the Labour Party, led by Keir Starmer, unexpectedly won the prime ministership from Rishi Sunak, signaling a significant leftward shift. Meanwhile, in France, despite expectations that Marine Le Pen's right-wing coalition would perform strongly, the left-leaning coalition won, relegating Le Pen's faction to a weaker position. Emmanuel Macron's centrist coalition came in second, further diminishing the far-right's influence. These unexpected outcomes highlight the complexity and uncertainty of forecasting political events and suggest a potential leftward trend in the U.S. as well. This situation creates concerns for Trump and his supporters, as the European trends might indicate challenges for his campaign.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump WILDLY lies, "I know nothing about Project 2025"
Donald Trump has been caught lying about his knowledge of Project 2025 by claiming he knows nothing about it or its creators. However, evidence proves otherwise. Trump posted on Truth Social denying any involvement or knowledge of the project, yet he has been seen publicly supporting and interacting with key figures behind it, such as praising Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation, which developed Project 2025. His press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has appeared in ads promoting the project, and his close aide, John McEntee, is also involved. Additionally, Trump's super PAC is running ads about Project 2025, and he is mentioned over 270 times in its founding documents. This initiative, which has been gaining mainstream attention, is opposed by both real conservatives and liberals. In response to increasing scrutiny, Trump and his allies are attempting to distance themselves from it by lying about their involvement. To further understand Project 2025, we offer a free whitepaper on our website, detailing its origins, risks, and ways to counter it.

Should Biden step down? Maybe with the right process he would consider it. A study could be done to see if a fair and legal replacement process could be put in place with the pro’s and con’s considered. If there can be a process done in time and if there seems to be considerably more pro’s than con’s, the process could be presented to Biden. Biden could then decide whether to step down or not. If he decides to stay in, we support him 100 percent.
If he steps down, he will be retiring with a lifetime of great public service for our country. The process of doing this could be to have debates among vetted Democrats wanting to run against Trump. This group should include Vice President Harris and some others that have been mentioned as possible replacements along with Tim Ryan and Amy Klobuchar. Ballots could be mailed to all registered Democrats. An on-line vote would occur, where the voter would enter his or her name and ballot code and then vote. This would need to be done in July or so, so that the winner would be known before the Ohio August 7 deadline. Biden would give his delegates to the winner. All candidates and Biden would help in the campaign.
It would be essential that all legal requirements are met. Any glitches could turn the whole thing into a mess. On the positive side, media attention would be on the debates. Questions dealing with Trump trying to overthrow election results, Supreme Court delaying and Republicans assisting Trump and Putin could be asked.
Having a decision at the Convention would likely alienate some voters. Just picking Vice President Harris would still have the same negatives on the border issue as Biden.
I would urge the contenders to campaign for a minimum of women rights to be guaranteed nationwide and not try to get Roe completely restored this election cycle, to have a policy to control the border, to strongly support Ukraine and to strengthen democracy here and worldwide.
Thank you,
Doug
GOOD GOD! what is happening to our country. Can’t we Democrats do something.. Should we protest like the idiot MAGA people. Biden’s team needs to get tough and attack the REPUBLICANS. Again remember who we are fighting against the most treasonous person in the world right now. What can I do to help stop this insanity?
