Trump announces he will end crime in swollen slurring video
Donald Trump put out a statement announcing he will end crime in the United States if he’s elected president in 2024. Trump starts out the video saying, “Joe Biden and the defund-the-police Democrats have turned our once great cities into cesspools of bloodshed and crime.” The former president went on to say he would “sign a record investment in hiring, retention, and training for police officers nationwide.” He then said he would add liability protections for police officers so they can’t get sued by civilians. Trump then called for requiring a stop-and-frisk policy in police departments which would effectively get rid of people’s Fourth Amendment rights. Then Trump said he will be “strictly enforcing existing gun laws against convicted felons, cracking down on the open use of illegal drugs and cooperating with ICE to get criminal aliens off our streets and get them out of our country.” All of these policies, combined with Trump wanting to ramp up the death penalty, go to show he’s a wannabe dictator and incredibly dangerous to the United States.
They're seriously talking about separating into 2 countries
Radical Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has suggested on Twitter that the U.S. should have a national divorce in order to separate the political differences between red states and blue states. Many within the Republican Party are denouncing Greene’s idea, however, Fox News propagandist Sean Hannity appeared to give it some support during his interview with the congresswoman. Often what right-wingers forget about when they propose an idea like this is that the new blue-state country would be much more viable as blue states regularly outperform red states in terms of GDP and they have more diverse economies that are less reliant on any particular industry or sector. Blue states also tend to have more educated workforces, better infrastructure, better education, and better healthcare. On the other hand, red states are disproportionately reliant on federal subsidies, while blue states over-contribute to subsidize them. Republicans should be careful about what they’re asking for and should recognize they actually need blue states in order to keep them viable.

Trump ATTACKS DeSantis, the war is officially on
The war between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis is really ramping up despite the fact that DeSantis hasn’t yet announced whether he’ll be running for president in 2024. At a Club 45 event earlier this week, Trump said, “I never mentioned this because I don't like hitting Republicans. I really don't. But I did get 1.2 million more votes than Ron. 1.2 million more votes. Nobody wants to mention it. The press refuses to mention it.” Of course, it’s bogus to compare a presidential election with a governor’s race, since the presidential contest will always generate higher voter interest than a midterm race. Trump went on to criticize DeSantis’s supposed inability to draw big crowds. Clearly, the Florida governor is living inside the former president’s head and he’ll likely continue residing there until the GOP nominee is decided well over a year from now.

Right-Wingers triggered by Biden Ukraine trip as Putin threatens
Republicans are seriously upset with President Biden for visiting Ukraine for the anniversary of the Russian invasion instead of visiting the site of the train derailment disaster in East Palestine, Ohio. For example, Congresswoman Nancy Mace went on Fox News and said it was “an embarrassment on the world stage” for Biden to go to Ukraine on Presidents’ Day of all days. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene expanded on this sentiment in a tweet, writing, “Biden didn’t go to East Palestine, Ohio on President’s Day. He went to Ukraine, a NON-NATO nation, whose leader is an actor and is apparently now commanding our United States military to world war. We must impeach this America Last fool before it’s too late.” These Republicans will find anything to blame Joe Biden on but the criticism rings hollow given that the president can work on solving multiple issues at once, even on Presidents’ Day.
