CONFIRMED: Trump Stole Classified Documents, Justice Dept Investigating
The National Archives has confirmed that Donald Trump took classified items to his home in Mar-a-Lago and the agency has referred the matter to the Biden Justice Department. Under federal law, classified documents cannot be sent to unauthorized locations and Trump appears to have done this. The former president, however, could argue that he had the ultimate authority over what got declassified, so it would have been acceptable for him to transfer these records to his home in southern Florida. However, it doesn’t appear that he declassified any of these documents, instead he just took them. Moreover, this would not address the alleged violations of the Presidential Records Act which requires that these records be preserved. It’s entirely possible that this, like so many other Trump scandals, go nowhere and his actions go without consequences. However, it’s ludicrous to think someone who is suspected of transferring, incinerating, and even flushing sensitive information was able to effectively argue that his political opponents can’t be trusted with classified material.
"Real Possibility" of "Biggest European War Since World War II"
World leaders, including Boris Johnson and Kamala Harris, are warning about the largest war in Europe since World War II with this escalating Russia-Ukraine conflict. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said, “you’re looking at not just an invasion through the east, through the Donbas, but according to the intelligence that we’re seeing, coming down from the north, down from Belarus and actually circling Kiev itself.” American Vice President Kamala Harris told reporters, “we’re talking about the potential for war in Europe. I mean, let’s really take a moment to understand the significance of what we’re talking about. It’s been over 70 years. And through those 70 years . . . there has been peace and security. We are talking about the real possibility of war in Europe.” Hopefully, this escalation in tensions won’t result in a full-scale invasion of Ukraine as many are predicting. Joe Biden has said he’s open to meeting with Vladimir Putin in order to reach a diplomatic resolution to the conflict. However, at this point, much of what happens next depends on what the Russian president wants to do.

Dave Rubin Says Unvaccinated Being Treated Like Jews Before Holocaust
Dave Rubin, cultural critic and arbiter of ideas, now believes that the unvaccinated in America are being treated like the Jews in Germany before the Holocaust. Rubin said on his show, “the way something like the Holocaust starts is you otherize people. You keep otherizing them. You say, ‘oh you can’t be part of the economy. You can’t own a store. You can’t do this. We’re going to demonize you. You’re diseased.’ So it is not a giant leap, it really is not and I don’t care how much hate I get for this. It is not a giant leap, after two years of demonizing certain people who wanted choice — medical choice . . . to compare them to Jews before the Holocaust.” Rubin, appearing to realize his comparison was hyperbolic then followed up, “it’s not a perfectly symmetrical situation, right. There aren’t gas chambers in Canada — yet.” Obviously, there is no comparison to the Holocaust to be had here and comments like these are out of line. Rubin preluded this statement by mentioning that he lost family members in the Holocaust so he doesn’t mean to minimize it by making the comparison. Ironically, this is the exact same type of identity politics argument that the American right wing claims to be against. But more importantly, his disclaimer didn’t serve to make his nonsensical point about vaccine mandates any less offensive.

They're Doing It: Trump Backs Candidates Who'll Try to Steal Next Election
Donald Trump will indeed be endorsing in the 2022 midterms the candidates who promoted “the big lie” about the 2020 election. Ever since the attempts to overturn the last election failed, there has been speculation that if Trump could get more agreeable people in positions of power, then a soft coup could actual work for him in the next election cycle. The former president alluded to this in a recent video message when he said, “sometimes the vote counter is more important than the candidate and we can’t let that ever ever happen again. They have to get tougher and smarter.” Now, Trump and his allies are backing a number of candidates around the country. One such candidate is Matthew DePerno, who is running to become the Attorney General of Michigan. DePerno has been a promoter of debunked 2020 election fraud conspiracy theories. Trump plans on holding a fundraiser for him in Mar-a-Lago on March 8th. With rewards like this one, it’s easy to see how other Republican candidates will be incentivized to also push “the big lie” if they too want to raise money and win their races.
