TRUMP COLLAPSE: KAMALA TAKES FIRST 1+ POINT NATIONAL LEAD
Kamala Harris has achieved a significant milestone in the 2024 presidential race, leading Donald Trump by 1.1 points in national polling averages, marking her first full-point advantage. This increase in support follows the announcement that Joe Biden would step aside, allowing Harris to become the Democratic nominee, which has driven a steady rise in her polling numbers. Nate Silver’s forecast even shows Harris with a 3.1-point lead, which is noteworthy but not a guarantee of victory due to the structure of the Electoral College, where a Democratic candidate typically needs to win the popular vote by at least 2.5 points to secure the presidency. This growing momentum for Harris has contributed to Trump's increasingly erratic behavior as the race progresses.
Former Republican: Trump is DONE, his brain is FRIED
George Conway recently made headlines for his sharp critique of Donald Trump during an interview with Jen Psaki on MSNBC. Conway, a former Republican, claimed that Trump is "done" and that his "brain is fried," pointing to Trump's baseless claim that a photo of Kamala Harris's crowd was manipulated. Conway sees this as evidence of Trump's declining mental state, comparing it to believing in conspiracy theories like staged moon landings. While reasonable Republicans might dismiss Trump’s claims as absurd, hardcore MAGA supporters might still believe him, even when presented with clear evidence to the contrary. This highlights the deep-seated loyalty within Trump's base, which is unlikely to be swayed by facts. The focus for the upcoming election should be on convincing the remaining undecided voters and ensuring a high turnout, as persuading Trump's staunch supporters is not an effective strategy.

Desperate Trump back on Twitter as polls & Truth Social COLLAPSE
Donald Trump recently returned to Twitter just before his multi-hour interview with Elon Musk on Twitter Spaces. After being banned from Twitter following the Capitol riots, Trump focused on promoting his platform, Truth Social. However, his recent activity on Twitter, including promotional videos and messages, suggests a shift back to the larger platform. This move has caused concern among investors in the Trump Media and Technology Group, as the stock value has dropped dramatically from its peak, falling from $66 to $23 per share—a decline of roughly two-thirds. Trump's return to Twitter may further diminish the relevance of Truth Social and exacerbate the financial struggles of the Trump Media and Technology Group.
From yesterday’s show:
SHOCK POLL: KAMALA +9 OVER TRUMP IN WISCONSIN
A new poll in Wisconsin shows Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump by nine points, with Harris at 51% and Trump at 42%, a significant margin given how close Wisconsin was in the 2016 and 2020 elections. While this is just one poll, the average from Real Clear Politics shows Harris with a 1.2-point lead in the state, and the New York Times Siena poll gives her a six-point lead. The poll also reveals minimal support for third-party candidates, with Cornel West at 0.3%, Jill Stein at 0.8%, and Bobby Kennedy Jr. at 5%, which is seen as a positive sign for Harris, reducing the risk of vote-splitting. In other key states, Harris leads by 3.2 points in Michigan and by less than a point in Pennsylvania, though third-party candidates still pose a potential risk. Arizona remains tight, with conflicting polls, but Trump holds a slight two-point lead on average. As the election approaches, these trends suggest a challenging road ahead for Trump in critical battleground states.
