Shiny wet Trump cracks at Iowa rally, crowd visibly confused
Donald Trump continues to hold campaign events despite the four criminal trials he’s facing which could send him to prison for life. One such event was in Iowa, the first state to vote in the Republican primaries, and during his speech, the failed former president made a number of peculiar statements. Trump bragged about ending Roe v. Wade, even though this stance may not align with the majority of Americans who support abortion rights. He also expressed an odd sense of pride in being indicted, which contradicts private reports suggesting he's deeply concerned about his legal troubles. Trump's speech included references to “beautiful Hillary” Clinton, which raised eyebrows, and he muddled his message by combining election-related and border security issues. The event was emblematic of Trump's unusual campaign style, with questions arising about the sincerity of his statements and his continued ability to connect with his supporters.
Republican "confronts" Pete Buttigieg, goes HORRIBLY WRONG
During congressional testimony, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg skillfully navigated a line of questioning from Republican Congressman Eric Burlison regarding his travel expenses, specifically private flights. Burlison asked about the number of flights Buttigieg has taken as a way to make him look like he’s wasting taxpayer dollars. Buttigieg effectively countered by pointing out that the vast majority of his flights were, in fact, commercial, and the private flights often involved government aircraft for practical reasons and cost savings. Buttigieg remained composed and committed to transparency when asked about disclosing financial information. Like he often does in these tense exchanges, “Mayor Pete” showcased his preparedness and ability to address scrutiny effectively, while Burlison's line of inquiry appeared less substantiated and like an ill-advised politically motivated smear attempt.
From yesterday’s show:
Lauren Boebert public genital fondling might be multiple crimes
The controversy surrounding Lauren Boebert goes beyond potential political consequences, as she may have committed multiple crimes during the incident in which she allegedly fondled a man in public. According to Colorado law, public indecency includes acts like loudly fondling or caressing another individual in a place where the public can witness them. This offense is considered a petty sex crime, punishable by fines and up to six months in prison. Boebert's actions could potentially classify her as a sex criminal, though the prosecutor's office has shown no interest in pursuing charges. Furthermore, Boebert is known for carrying firearms, and if she had a firearm while vaping cannabis, assuming she was under its influence, it could also be a violation of Colorado law. While some may not agree with every law in place, it's noteworthy that Boebert's party touts itself as the party of law and order and personal responsibility. Thus, if she indeed broke the law, she should face investigation and potential prosecution like any normal citizen would.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump surges to HISTORIC LEAD in '24 primary, CRUSHING EVERYONE
In the 2024 Republican primary, Donald Trump has surged to an unprecedented lead, boasting an average of 59% support, defying earlier predictions of a potential decline in his popularity. In contrast, his main competitor, Ron DeSantis, has seen a substantial drop in support, now polling at just 12.5%. Other Republican candidates like Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, and Mike Pence have struggled to gain significant traction. On the Democratic side, Joe Biden maintains a robust 67% average in the primary, while lesser-known candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson have seen their support wane. General election polls show a close race between Biden and Trump, with some even indicating Trump leading by a slim margin. However, the presence of a significant undecided voter bloc, ranging from 10% to 15%, underscores the early and evolving nature of these predictions, leaving room for potential shifts as the election season progresses.

You will then see truth appearing bit by bit, piece by piece. If you make mistakes in the process, you will correct them all on your own, without anyone telling you. Truth imposes itself on us! Truth appears by itself! For which reason nobody wants to run away from it, the very same reason we retain the language we acquired when we were babies. Who wants to look a gift horse in the mouth?!
Babies are born into the same reality as everybody else. The language they learn is a language developed over thousands of years for deciphering this reality. You can use this language to create fiction. But fiction will always be different from truth. (Ask fiction writers the difficulties in developing a plot.) The same for lies.
Innumerable languages have been developed to decipher the same reality. But because they are all developed to decipher the same reality, they are all translatable with minor losses here and there..
There is no alternate reality because no baby has grown up in it. Alternate reality is the kind of grownup talk that makes no sense.
Language--any naturally developed language--has provided human beings a treasure composed of innumerable truths. Why would anyone want to throw it away? Or deliberately destroy it by telling lies?
