Trump is like a monkey in a zoo throwing shit. It’s a distraction.

Trump is an example of something called the dark triad. It involves Machiavellianism and deception

Cathy's avatar

This! Exactly this! a monkey throwing shit, a camel or Llama spitting, a dog rolling in it's own poop. Completely useless and not particularly entertaining.

Hound's avatar

Trump instinctively starts throwing shit out there when he knows the walls are closing in. He learned that tactic from a real scumbag named Roy Cohen. Roy Cohen was Joseph McCarthy’s lawyer. Joseph McCarthy was a piece of garbage who started the witch hunts and calling everybody he didn’t like a communist. We always hear Trump claiming that there’s a witch hunt against him but when Trump is making a claim it’s basically him projecting.

I have serious doubts that this country is going to recover from Trumpism and I try to keep my cool when thinking about Trump. If I could get someone like him in a room that person would come out in pieces. The thing that really thickens me about this is that justice will not be done. For justice to be done Trump and people like him would have to live many lifetimes of torture.

Trump definitely needs to resign.....

Trump threatens Canada. Does he not know what complete jackass he is making of himself? It's embarrassing. He is embarrassing. Congress is beyond embarrassing. They're as useful as an udder on a bull, a bump on a log, a doornail. It's all so humiliating.

Trump must be extremely worried that Canada is refusing to send their wheat to the US.

Russ's avatar

I was shocked to learn US is highly dependent on Canadian wheat for its higher quality. I love my spaghetti and it comes from Canadian wheat...ouch.

Not a farmer, so I may be off base here. We have lots of problems selling our soybeans. Why can't farmers raise wheat instead so we are not the dependent on Canada.

Sheila Smith's avatar

I think it has something that do with different grades of wheat and the climate conditions needed to grow them.

Russ's avatar

Thanks for reading my post. I later goggled and you are right. Canadian soil and weather conditions favor that better. Our farmers are smart enough to grow the crops they can make money on. So they would not grow soybeans if they could grow wheat at a better profit. Also they thought China would buy the soybeans and they did not.

Think Canada is not being treated well by this administration. However in this instance, Canada downgrades US wheat imports to lower quality regardless of the quality. Not sure if that is part of the trade retaliation or just an ongoing problem previous to this admin.

Resignation for the Orange Douche indeed. Not that he would EVER concede. He would have be dragged out in handcuffs and a straight jacket. QUESTION DAVID: Why isn't MAGA freaking out that their beloved is in the Files they voted him in to uncover?

Do you seriously believe MAGA cares about dignity especially for women? The party that took away women's reproductive rights. They love him making other lives miserable as theirs. Misery likes company.

It is ironic, that the party that pretends to be Christian, violates most of its tenants.

Carole's avatar

Religious tenets are the core principles, beliefs, or doctrines that define a faith, governing its rites, traditions, and the actions of its followers. What would you guess MAGA tenets are?

1. If it makes Trump et al richer, buy it , do it, promote it-

2. If it protects billionaire’s interests, see 1.

3. LIE EVERY TIME YOU GET THE CHANCE TO MAKE THE REGIME APPEAR NOBLE AND ONLY TRUE RULING CLASS

4. Reward anyone who gives the regime trophies, money, power or praise, regardless of any downstream damage

Carole's avatar

And along those lines why isn’t it big news that Hegseth’s military ( probably with input from Noem and Gabbard) ordered use of a laser weapon to take down a party balloon??? 🎈 nobody should be releasing them for the sake of our environment but wow- it’s a little overkill wouldn’t you say? Think we’re safer without party balloons in the air and that our military can’t tell the difference between them and those pesky drug cartel drones?? WOW- I know I sleep better knowing we’re protected by a bunch of meatheads…..

"Democrats demand judicial warrants, unmasked agents, and limits on detaining citizens. Republicans reject these measures..." Doesn't the Declaration of Independence decry all of these? Doesn't the U.S. Constitution's 4th Amendment already require a judicial warrant? WTF

Cathy's avatar

Yes! They do not care. The entire Congress is a bunch of crooks, led by a giant con. They just do whatever they want, no matter how illegal it is, and no one does anything about it. It's disgusting.

pedophile- rapist man “was mentioned in the Epstein Files more often than Harry Potter was mentioned in his books…”

and has so far faced minimal accountability. WHAT IS THE HOLDUP?? Lock him UP!!!!

Bert Dandy's avatar

It has been often proven that it is not the act but the cover-up that proves the undoing of politicians and others in public life. Lutnick's lies, even if he was not involved in Epstein's crimes, should disqualify him from serving in Cabinet. The public should have absolute trust in the integrity and honesty of its members.

The convicted felon, rapist, racist, Olympian liar, and pedophile - also known as our president - only nominates people like White supremest Jeremy Carl who - like the rest of the incompetent drug dealers and addicts in his government - meet only one qualification; they are all Trump ass kissers! They care less for you and I, or the Constitution!

It is disgusting that 40% of Americans support this crap!

One request for David Pakman.

Could you please find out and let us know how many ICE thugs were pardoned Jan 6 insurrectionists against the people of the United States and our Constitution?

I don’t think that I am alone in wanting an answer to that!

Carole's avatar

And why haven’t we heard about the “ investigations” of the murders and shootings by ICE MEN? We only know the name of Renée Goods killer🤷‍♀️ JONATHAN ROSS

Michael Wayne Carter's avatar

Why isn't Pam Bondi heard in contempt of congress? If they think they can hold an ex-President (Bill Clinton) for contempt, why not Bondi? Put her behind bars for a few days and see if she doesn;\'t change her tune!

The most appalling thing is the women who work for this regime, they are as repulsive as the men...

Wish Trump, Miller, Vought, Bannon, Bondi, Stone, Noem & Gabbard were all dead as door knobs & pushing up daisies. OMG, the list is endless, can't believe how many of these MAGA scumbags am wishing were DEAD!!! None will make good fertilizer because they're all toxic & poisonous subhuman POS'.

America ... now Trumpistan will not survive another year of this abject chaos and corruption. Trump has absolutely ZERO self awareness and this is a huge problem. SHIT SHOW doesn't come close to explaining all of it. The whole incompetent administration needs to be flushed to the septic tank of history. JC!!!!!

Bertin's avatar

Great Britain is investigating one of the male Royalty because of his appearance in the Epstein Files… Trump’s name appears around a million times in the files but DOJ says “ There’s nothing to see there.” & tries to change the subject!

Russ's avatar

The coverup is usually worse than the crime. However both are running neck and neck as a national outrage. DOJ, Congress and the SC does not work for the US, just the WH. Never has democracy and the constitution been so weak. Hopefully from weakness we can rise above it. Benjamin Franklin had it right..."if we can keep it".

Trump got elected despite negatives that would have knocked anyone else out. So how is anything that comes out of the Epstein scandal make him any more unpopular?

Not to say it should be ignored, but seriously doubt this will be the nail in the coffin. He has survived worse. The only fix is for Dems to stop whining and come up with a platform that sells big in the mid-terms. Term limits, universal healthcare, no stock trading. America needs something that brings us together. Smelling armpits will not work.

Russ's avatar

BFD, so Andrew has to move to a smaller mansion, whittle a bit on his fortune, give up meaningless titles. I am sure he is suffering terribly and may even have to give up a Rolls Royce or two. British snobbery will pretend all kinds of outrage and in the end royalty will be protected and flourish.

Carole's avatar

So what “suffering” has this regime had to endure? They keep grabbing billions hand over fist while they issue ridiculous lies to us and send their terrorizing murderous thugs into our cities? How much money have they allocated so far in trump2 just to deal with 4000 bad guys??? And now billions and billions more cuz they didn’t plan ahead for handling all their detainees while making their quotas???🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

"That contradicts public statements suggesting he supports transparency."

Starting in late 1985, Tony Schwartz, author of The Art of the Deal, spent eighteen months with Dumpy—camping out in his office, joining him on his helicopter, tagging along at meetings, and spending weekends with him at his Manhattan apartment and his Florida estate. During that period, Schwartz felt, he had got to know him better than almost anyone else outside the Dumpy family.

“Lying is second nature to him,” Schwartz said. “More than anyone else I have ever met, Dumpy has the ability to convince himself that whatever he is saying at any given moment is true, or sort of true, or at least ought to be true.” Schwartz says of Trump, “He lied strategically. He had a complete lack of conscience about it.” Since most people are “constrained by the truth,” Dumpy’s indifference to it “gave him a strange advantage.” When challenged about the facts, Schwartz says, Dumpy would often double down, repeat himself, and grow belligerent. The hyoid bone remains in tact in *passive strangulations*, which are more rare than suicide by hanging. Most people who try to strangle themselves hang themselves, and that breaks the hyoid bone. A passive strangulation is committed by someone who has a dedication to die, but can't hang themselves.
