MyPillow Mike Lindell Served with Lawsuit on Camera
Mike Lindell was served lawsuit papers on camera this week in hilarious fashion. The documents relate to a defamation lawsuit put forward by Eric Coomer of Dominion Voting Systems. In the video, a man who could easily be implied to be a fan of Lindell, handed the MyPillow guy an orange envelope without saying what was in it. At first, Lindell took it without thinking, but then when he realized something was up, he turned to the man and said, “what is this? Sir, what is this?” The response was that it’s legal documents intended for him. A visibly defeated Lindell responded, “oh it is.” Clearly, Mike had done his best over the past few months to avoid getting served with the lawsuit, but he really had his guard down in this instance and had no choice but to hold onto the documents. Despite Lindell having a lot of money, these suits could really damage him, and as they should since he’s forever tarnished the reputation of these voting system companies.
Reporters WILL NOT STOP Asking Ridiculous Questions
Jen Psaki may be on her way out working as the White House press secretary, but that isn’t stopping some reporters in the press room from asking her dumb questions. Steven Portnoy of CBS News, for example, asked Psaki why the US isn’t calling for World War III over the atrocities committed by Russia during its invasion of Ukraine. Perhaps Portnoy isn’t in favor of escalating tensions to that degree, but it could easily be what he wants to see happen given that he asked the question. Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Psaki if the White House would support the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden. Psaki responded, “the president has never had a conversation with the Department of Justice into any member of his family.” Investigators will be able to look into Hunter’s potential wrongdoings independent of the White House and the media, and that’s indeed how it should be.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump ADMITS He Lost: "I Didn't Win the Election"
Donald Trump appears to be heading in the direction of admitting that he lost the 2020 election. In fact, in an interview with historians Trump even said, “I didn’t win the election,” going on to say that Iran, China, and South Korea were happy that Biden won.” Now of course, Trump offered up all his usual caveats with these statements, doubling down about voter fraud claims and Democratic rigging. He was the one who wished to speak with a group of historians and thought it could correct the record about him and help them write an “accurate” book about his presidency. Julian Zelizer, editor of “The Presidency of Donald Trump: A First Historical Assessment,” said after the interview, “[Trump] seemed to want the approval of historians, without any understanding of how historians gather evidence or render judgments.” Apparently, the former president believed the historians would treat him with kid gloves if he could just manage to be nice to them during the exchange. We’ll see how this book turns out and if it’s at all to the ex-president’s liking.
From yesterday’s show:
BREAKING: 3 Republicans Will Vote for Biden SCOTUS Pick
Only three Republican senators have announced that they will be voting for Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson. The senators include Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Mitt Romney of Utah. Supreme Court nominations have become so brazenly partisan over the past decade, with justices now only getting approved by a slim margin. Most Republican senators have been able to come up with bogus excuses for why they can’t vote for her. Roy Blunt of Missouri argued that Judge Jackson’s view of the Constitution is too “flexible” and that he’d like to see someone picked who has a more originalist perspective. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said he can’t support KBJ because he considers her to be a progressive activist. Judge Jackson is by many metrics the most competent and qualified judges to ever get selected to the Supreme Court and there really shouldn’t be such a partisan divide on this issue.
