Donald Trump is reportedly canceling key economic reports, including the October jobs report, the inflation report, and the advance GDP estimate, creating a “data blackout.” Policymakers, businesses, and the public are left without reliable information, while the administration simultaneously pressures the Federal Reserve for large interest rate cuts.
At Reagan National Airport, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Paul Saladino, and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy were filmed doing pull-ups in a bizarre and distracting stunt. Meanwhile, the Trump administration ignores serious infrastructure issues like flight delays, outdated planes, trash, and air traffic control problems.
After Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed on 60 Minutes that Republicans laugh at Trump behind his back, he reacted furiously on Truth Social, attacking Greene personally and criticizing the program. The episode illustrates Trump’s insecurity, the ongoing MAGA civil war within the GOP, and his tendency to threaten or pressure media outlets.
In a recent cabinet meeting, Trump appeared dazed and confused while answering reporters’ questions. He nodded at a conspiracy framing of January 6 as a “Fed-surrection,” struggled with policy explanations on domestic produce, and attacked a reporter asking about Venezuelan strike footage.
Trump announced a bailout for farmers affected by his tariffs, claiming $11–12 billion in aid, but he seemed unaware of how the program works and repeatedly contradicted aides. He proposed removing environmental restrictions on farm equipment, despite inflation being the main driver of prices.
Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s press secretary, struggled to defend the administration on Newsmax and Fox News. She misrepresented the effects of tariffs on soybean exports, overstated farm aid, and falsely claimed prices and gas costs were at historic lows while blaming Biden for improvements under his administration.
Nick Fuentes’ interview with Piers Morgan reveals how social isolation and personal frustration can fuel radicalization. Fuentes, who says he has never had sex and finds women “difficult to be around,” gravitates toward Nazi aesthetics and hierarchical spectacle as a way to feel power, belonging, and control. His misogyny and obsession with Nazi uniforms show that extremism can appeal to emotional and identity voids.
Finally, Senator Mark Kelly, Democrat from Arizona, joins us to discuss the video he put out with fellow lawmakers reminding troops to ignore unlawful orders, which prompted threats from Donald Trump and his supporters.
