OH NO: Trump Asks Putin to Provide Dirt on Hunter Biden
In the midst of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Donald Trump is asking Vladimir Putin to provide dirt on Hunter Biden. Trump appeared on Real America’s Voice for an interview and alleged that the wife of Moscow’s late mayor Yury Luzhkov gave Joe Biden’s son Hunter $3.5 million and he wanted to know more about it. The former president said, “she gave him $3.5 million so now I would think Putin would know the answer to that. I think he should release it. I think we should know that answer.” This is of course not the first time that Trump has asked Putin to do him a political favor. During the 2016 presidential race, Trump asked the Russian president to release missing emails from Hillary Clinton’s private server. He said, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.” This tactic has worked for Trump before and his supporters didn’t care he was cozying up with a dictator then, so he’s willing to do it again even as Putin is in the middle of committing atrocities while illegally invading a sovereign country.
Sick Trump Interview Horrifies World
In addition to asking Vladimir Putin for a political favor, Donald Trump made a bunch of other unhinged statements during his interview on Real America’s Voice. Trump appeared super self-conscious about the size of the crowd he drew in Commerce, Georgia over the weekend. The rally only had a few thousand people in attendance, but Trump claimed the sheriff told him it was 45,000 people and the media lied about it. The ex-POTUS then did his best to speak about supply chain issues by saying stores have run out of everything. Clearly, Trump hasn’t done his own shopping in a long time, if ever, because he struggled to think of store items aside from “bread” and jewelry at Tiffany’s. Interestingly, Trump also addressed becoming Speaker of the House if Republicans take back the lower chamber in the midterms. The idea has been floated by folks like Wayne Allyn Root and Representative Matt Gaetz. However, Trump turned it down saying, “no it’s not something I want to do.” Clearly, Trump isn’t interested in the role because he wants to focus his attention on launching another run for president in 2024.
From yesterday’s show:
Judge Rules Trump Likely Committed Felonies
A federal judge has issued an opinion that Donald Trump likely committed multiple felonies when trying to overturn the 2020 election. US District Court Judge David Carter wrote, “based on the evidence, the Court finds it more likely than not that President Trump corruptly attempted to obstruct the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, 2021.” This finding could provide a legitimate reason to force Trump and his team to turn over records to investigators as it can be assumed that crimes were possibly committed. Judge Carter’s opinion along with the ongoing congressional investigation into January 6th are probably enough for Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Justice Department to launch a criminal probe against Donald Trump, but that certainly doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed to happen. There is a long history of former presidents in the United States avoiding criminal prosecution but then again, no president has ever been as lawless as Donald Trump.
From yesterday’s show:
US Trucker Convoy Gives Up, Leaves DC Humiliated After Doing Nothing
The American trucker convoy has left Washington DC after failing to get much attention. The convoy was protesting mostly non-existent vaccine mandates and they are now leaving town after three weeks of accomplishing nothing. The plan for the group posted up in Hagerstown, Maryland is to take a southerly route to California to avoid the freezing cold weather they’ve been dealing with. The convoy’s co-organizer Mike Landis said to the crowd, “so what I want to know is, what do you think about heading to California?” When they approved he said, “we’re gonna take a little more southern route, so it’s a little warmer than this.” Many people were unaware that the trucker convoy was still in the DC area because of how little attention it was getting, especially in light of real issues in the news like the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It was hard for the truckers to gain sympathy over non-existent oppression when there was real danger and hardship being faced elsewhere in the world.
