Eight Democratic senators, including Jeanne Shaheen, Maggie Hassan, Tim Kaine, and Dick Durbin, voted to end the government shutdown, effectively caving on the effort to pressure Republicans for extended Obamacare subsidies. The planned vote in December is unlikely to succeed, and the shutdown has already caused widespread harm, from unpaid federal workers to disrupted social programs.
Donald Trump issued a wave of preemptive pardons for figures tied to efforts to overturn the 2020 election, including Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, Sidney Powell, and John Eastman. Many of these pardons apply to crimes not yet charged, shielding allies from potential accountability.
The MAGA movement is fracturing as extremist factions like Nick Fuentes’ “groypers” turn on establishment conservatives. Figures such as Ben Shapiro, Ted Cruz, Tucker Carlson, Vivek Ramaswamy, and JD Vance are facing attacks from far-right elements they once accommodated. The conservative establishment underestimated how conspiracy theories and radicalism would escalate, shifting the movement further right.
Airports are facing severe delays amid the government shutdown, with reports of nine-hour waits at major hubs like Newark. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy suggested using uncertified air traffic controllers from Pete Hegseth, raising serious safety concerns.
Trump also suffered a public meltdown over the weekend, posting contradictory and misleading claims on social media. He promised $2,000 for nearly all Americans while attacking Democrats, Obamacare, and Biden, exaggerating crime, inflation, and border issues.
Trump’s pardon of Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, who admitted laundering money for criminal and terrorist groups, coincided with a $2 billion investment into the Trump family’s crypto company, World Liberty Financial. This is a clear quid pro quo, with presidential power, pardons, and private enrichment intersecting in ways that raise serious conflict-of-interest concerns.
Trump was publicly humiliated at a Washington Commanders game, booed by thousands. He looked rattled alongside Fox host Pete Hegseth and went into the broadcast booth, where he launched into political propaganda, boasting of imaginary investments and falling prices.
Finally, Rep. Seth Moulton, Democrat from Massachusetts, joins us to discuss the end of the government shutdown and his campaign for US Senate.

It’s hard to believe there is a Republican contingent moving even FURTHER right…
These 8 treasonous Democrats should be impeached if that is a possible. They caved to their corrupt PACS and AIPAC, who rule each of them. Greed and total disregard for their constituents allowed each, like Senators Durbin, King , Kaine,
Cortez Masto, Fetterman, Shaheen, Rosen, and Hassan, destroy the lives of thousands if not millions of their constituents in order to ‘Make Nice’ to their own wallets. If unsure take time to research what each Senators has received from PACs during their careers in Politics. Go to opensecrets.org where all amounts are listed. They are in the millions. You can also research why Senators and Representatives on both sides will cave an accept ‘payola’… ie, payment of a bribe/s in return for destroying their constituents. I find it amazing , for lack of a better word, that King would vote as he did. Maine is 21st in poverty level, and New Hampshire 2 Senators Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Sheehan voted to screw their constituents. New Hampshire rates the lowest in poverty level. The reason given by Sheehan is the “promise”possibility that ‘Mikie’ Johnson will vote to reconsider de Affordable Care Act… or something of that nature. Who is that ignorant or just plain Cruel who would possibly risk everything on a possible vote by known scammer/ scammers… unless perhaps they are also scamming. If I am wrong I will personally write each a Letter of apology. But, my grandma used to say “Believe what they DO, Not what they Say!” It’s worked for me more than I can say, and I’m nearly 80.
