Trump Admits to Major Crime During Insane Meltdown
Donald Trump appears to have admitted to a major crime when he tried to make a point about how Ron DeSantis shouldn’t run for president against him. Trump posted to Truth Social, “I also fixed his campaign, which had completely fallen apart. I was all in for Ron, and he beat Gillum, but after the Race, when votes were being stolen by the corrupt Election process in Broward County, and Ron was going down ten thousand votes a day, along with now-Senator Rick Scott, I sent in the FBI and the U.S. Attorneys, and the ballot theft immediately ended, just prior to them running out of the votes necessary to win. I stopped his Election from being stolen.” If Trump really did send in the FBI and US attorneys to stop votes from being counted in Florida, that would be election fraud and a major abuse of power. It’s also certainly possible this all didn’t happen and Trump is making it all up. But if it did, this would be yet another thing to criminally implicate the former president.
Pence Turns on Trump: "Reckless, Endangered My Family"
Former Vice President Mike Pence is no longer mincing words about his former boss and is calling Donald Trump “reckless” and someone who “endangered [his] family.” Pence was talking to ABC’s David Muir about the events of January 6, 2021. He said, “it doesn’t take courage to break the law. It takes courage to uphold the law. I mean, the president’s words were reckless. It’s clear he decided to be part of the problem.” Pence will no doubt be treated like a hero in some circles for coming out and saying this but he doesn’t deserve any credit. Mike could have spoken up about Trump immediately after the Capitol insurrection when his opinion would have carried some weight. Instead, Pence waited until now, when Trump is at his weakest following so many Republican losses in the 2022 midterms. If anything, this interview reveals that Mike Pence is more of an opportunist than a courageous man taking on the head of his own party.
From over the weekend:
Marjorie Taylor Greene Starts Campaign to Be Trump's VP
With the 2022 midterms now behind us, a quiet campaign among Republicans has begun to see who can best position themselves to be Donald Trump’s running mate in 2024. The conversation is presumptuous since there’s now a solid chance Trump won’t be the next GOP nominee, but it’s getting going regardless. One of the characters being floated for the position is Georiga Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Clearly, Greene wants the job since she’s already beginning to criticize her potential competition in Kari Lake and Ron DeSantis. She said on Right Side Broadcasting recently, “we need strong Republican governors to fight, stay in for eight years, and save their states. Not to abandon their office and run for president or any other big position.” It’s completely transparent what MTG is doing and she’s been such a Trump sycophant over the years that there’s a decent chance it will work for her.
From over the weekend:
Murdochs ABANDON Trump with Humiliating Trumpty Dumpty Cover
The Murdoch family is done with Donald Trump after his candidates performed miserably in the 2022 midterms and now they are pulling the escape hatch. On the cover of the New York Post last week, they ran a front-page story that read, “Trumpty Dumpty: Don (who couldn’t build a wall) head a great fall — can all the GOP’s men put the party back together again?” The article correctly points out that Trump has been a drag on the Republican Party for the last three elections: 2018, 2020, and now 2022. The concern for Trump is that the Murdochs not only run the New York Post, but they also own the Wall Street Journal and Fox News. If the right-wing media apparatus turns to Ron DeSantis and they keep hammering the point home that Trump is a loser and a liability, his prospects of winning the 2024 Republican primary will be a lot smaller than he initially imagined.
