Trump rants to SILENT crowd, tells "sir" stories
During a recent event at one of his resorts, Donald Trump faced a curiously subdued crowd, raising questions about the level of enthusiasm for his campaign. Unfazed, Trump proceeded to share his signature "sir stories," anecdotes where people supposedly approach him while addressing him as "sir" and often get brought to tears. This particular story was about whether he should be criticizing Ron DeSantis since he’s a fellow Republican with someone saying “Sir, you shouldn’t hit him that hard.” These stories are almost always unbelievable and there’s never any corroborating evidence to prove they actually happened. The audience's lack of enthusiasm in the story led to the clinking of utensils outweighing any applause or cheers, creating an atmosphere of low energy. Trump is certainly up massively in the Republican primary race, but one might not know it from watching clips from this lackluster event.
Fox Hosts BEG Trump to show up to their debate
Fox News hosts are eagerly urging former President Donald Trump to appear at the August 23rd Republican primary presidential debate, recognizing that his presence would boost ratings and garner a lot of attention. In a discussion on Fox & Friends, the hosts seemed to acknowledge that Trump's absence could be detrimental to their profit-making event since he remains a significant draw for viewers. The hosts believe that the rewards of participating in the debate outweigh the risks for Trump, as they consider him a skilled debater and could prevent other candidates from gaining momentum. Trump, however, seems to want to play it safe and not take on the unnecessary risk. But the Fox & Friends team argues that engaging in debates is essential for Trump's chances in the general election, as it provides valuable practice and preparation for potential face-offs with Joe Biden. Ratings aside, it makes sense to want the frontrunner on the debate stage, since the event will feel incomplete without him. Ultimately, the decision lies with Trump, and whether he chooses to attend remains an open question/
From yesterday’s show:
Chris Christie is POUNDING Trump, and Trump is terrified
Chris Christie, former New Jersey Governor and 2024 Republican presidential candidate, continues to effectively attack Donald Trump on the campaign trail. Christie has been emphasizing Trump's failures during his presidency, such as not delivering on promises like building the southern border wall and not accepting the results of the 2020 election. Christie is also urging Trump to participate in a debate, but Trump seems hesitant and is already laying the groundwork to skip the first primary debate on Fox News. Trump may use his high poll numbers to defend avoiding the debate since he doesn’t want to take on unnecessary risk. Christie has been the only Republican candidate so far willing to go after Trump aggressively and directly, and he may be able to do this effectively face-to-face with Trump on the debate stage if the former president decides to participate.
From yesterday’s show:
Biden fundraising BLOCKBUSTER, more than DOUBLE Trump
President Biden is far outpacing Donald Trump in fundraising in the early stages of the 2024 election. Biden's campaign, together with the DNC and joint fundraising committees, raised an impressive $72 million during Q2, while Trump's fundraising came in in the low to mid-30 millions. This is likely partially to do with the approval of Biden’s policies, combined with the fact that Biden is already seen as having a lock on his party’s nomination. Despite Biden's fundraising advantage, polls show a close race between Biden and Trump, indicating that this is not the be-all and end-all. Biden’s campaign can do a great deal with the millions it has raised to get the message out. But these numbers cannot lead to complacency and voters must remain engaged and active in the electoral process to have a meaningful impact on the outcome.

It occurs to me that Trump is having a had time with fund raising as he has grifted he followers into poverty. Yah for Biden, I will continue to send what I can that is reasonable. I know he would be OK with that.
