I listened to David's discussion on NPR yesterday (the 20th of April) and have to disagree slightly with mainstream Democrats' perception of AOC and Bernie. They are speaking to eager audiences - probably younger generations (of which I am not, and I don't know the demographics) - who would not for a minute think the two are 'too far left'. I don't! The US needs new (radical?) initiatives on universal not-for-profit health care and affordable housing and a living wage and they are probably the most likely ones (with their audiences) to take this forward for the next presidential election.
