FINAL UPDATE Election 2024: Trump vs Harris
As Election Day unfolds, the presidential race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump is extremely close, with FiveThirtyEight’s final projection giving Harris a 50% chance of winning and Trump 49%. RealClearPolitics’ battleground polling shows Trump leading in most swing states, though Harris could secure victory if holds the blue wall. Prediction markets, such as PredictIt and PolyMarket, lean toward Trump, though some argue wealthy Trump supporters may influence these odds. Polling expert Nate Silver has highlighted the race's unpredictability, noting the potential impact of "herding" if pollsters have aligned results to avoid outlier predictions, which could mask a stronger Harris showing. FiveThirtyEight projects the Senate will likely shift to Republican control, with a 92% GOP win forecast. Meanwhile, the House remains a toss-up. In the end, the election’s outcome across the presidency, Senate, and House will come down to key swing state results and turnout.
Trump has MAJOR MALFUNCTION at CRITICAL moment
In the final hours of the presidential campaign, Donald Trump faced a significant gaffe during his rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, mistakenly claiming he was in Detroit. Despite this and a generally incoherent delivery, Trump's supporters remained largely despondent. His speech was marked by vengeful rhetoric against political opponents, contrasting sharply with Kamala Harris's inclusive message of being a president for everyone, regardless of their voting choice. Trump unleashed personal attacks, particularly against figures like Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff, using derogatory language and alluding to violence. He called Pelosi "evil" and "sick," while describing military leaders as "stupid generals," claiming no one respects the troops more than he does, despite his disparagement of their leaders. Trump's focus on migrants further alienated many, as he suggested they were solely responsible for job creation, stripping them of their humanity.
From yesterday’s show:
If this ONE POLL is right, Trump's DONE
A new poll from the Des Moines Register, conducted by highly accurate pollster J. Ann Selzer, shows Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump by three points in Iowa—a traditionally Republican state that was not seen as a battleground. Historically, Iowa has leaned strongly towards Trump, with prior polls showing him ahead by eight to ten points. If accurate, this Selzer poll suggests a potential landslide in Harris's favor, as Iowa is not expected to be competitive. Selzer’s polling record has been reliable, with a margin of error no greater than five points, meaning that even a slight underperformance could still indicate a close race in Iowa and a strong showing for Harris across swing states. The polling internals reveal that key demographics, particularly independent and older women, may be shifting toward Harris. This polling divergence from other surveys may be attributed to a “herding” effect, where pollsters adjust data to match other polls, potentially hiding shifts in Harris’s favor. If this trend holds, swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania could lean towards Harris. While voter turnout remains critical, this poll hints at a significant shift that could reshape the election map.
From yesterday’s show:
Kamala REJECTS identity politics bait AGAIN
Kamala Harris has skillfully navigated questions about identity politics on the campaign trail, emphasizing unity and commitment to all Americans rather than focusing on her gender or background. During a recent interview in Atlanta, when asked if women would make the difference in the election, she affirmed women’s impact but stressed her role as a candidate for everyone, aiming to bridge divides across gender, race, and geography. This approach highlights Americans’ exhaustion with divisive politics, contrasting her vision with Donald Trump’s by focusing on shared values and national unity. Harris’s consistent messaging has helped her avoid being reduced to identity-based narratives, presenting her instead as a leader with broad appeal. If elected, Harris’s historic position as the first female president would be a milestone, yet she emphasizes that her policies and vision, not her identity, are what truly resonate with voters.

"Tucker Carlson appears to have lost his mind, claiming that abortion causes hurricanes and restating his ridiculous story that he was "mauled by a demon" while sleeping in his bed"
Given that Jewish space lasers are blamed for forest fires, maybe abortions cause hurricanes. GOP cult members are blameless for attacks on migrants and for their leader adding to the deficit and causing an insurrection. So anything that spews from the mouth of Tucker Carlson is just the norm for GOP. To be honest, I've just stopped listening to anyone in the GOP unless they have abandoned the party of violence and idiocy for the saner rhetoric of the left. A Trump win today will signal the end of America...PERIOD! and the new kingdom of MAGA BS, conspiracy theories, violence, and utter chaos. Having seen "Civil War", I knew that it was the direction we were headed. A Trump win makes that movie reality!
