Trump lost, frozen on stage for 39 minutes as music plays
At a recent Trump town hall in Oaks, Pennsylvania, a series of unusual events raised concerns about Donald Trump's behavior and mental fitness. After answering only a couple of questions, Trump stood on stage for nearly 40 minutes, appearing disoriented. As music played, he swayed, sometimes appearing to conduct the music, leading the audience to express confusion and concern. Co-host Governor Kristi Noem assisted Trump, prompting comparisons to caretakers for Alzheimer’s patients. The bizarre scene continued with Trump attempting to wrap up the event by mentioning a song he wanted to play, only to appear confused when reminded about it. Throughout the event, Trump swayed and leaned forward at the waist, adding to the perception that something was amiss. The rally, one of the strangest ever, led to further speculation about Trump’s mental state.
RED ALERT: TRUMP TAKES LEAD, POISED TO BECOME PRESIDENT
Current battleground state polling indicates that Donald Trump is leading in key states, potentially securing enough electoral votes to win the presidency. While Kamala Harris’s national polling lead has narrowed to around 1.4% according to the RealClearPolitics average, it's the battleground states that hold more weight. Trump has taken the lead in states that Joe Biden won in 2020, including Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. If these results hold, Trump would win with 302 electoral votes to Harris’s 236. While FiveThirtyEight’s averages show a slightly better scenario for Harris, the difference is minimal—less than one point—making the election outcome likely to hinge on slim margins in a handful of states. The close nature of these races highlights the critical importance of voter turnout.
From over the weekend:
Reporter: Did Trump lose 2020? Top Republican: IMPLODES
MAGA Republicans, like Speaker Mike Johnson, are now treating questions about the 2020 election results as a "gotcha game" orchestrated by the media. Johnson, when asked by George Stephanopoulos whether Donald Trump lost and Joe Biden won, refused to directly answer, deflecting by labeling it a distraction and claiming that the focus should be on future issues, such as policies for 2024. This evasion has become common among MAGA figures, with Johnson joining others, such as J.D. Vance and Corey Lewandowski, in avoiding clear statements about Trump’s 2020 loss. Acknowledging this fact, according to MAGA supporters, is now considered an attack or a trap, further fueling conspiracy theories about the election. The refusal to admit the results of 2020 is part of a broader strategy to keep Trump’s base convinced that the election was stolen, possibly setting the stage for future attempts to undermine or overturn election results if Trump loses again. By continually sowing doubt, these figures avoid confronting reality while maintaining loyalty to Trump’s narrative, preparing supporters for another challenge to democratic processes.
From over the weekend:
Trump's "CRIME IS UP" lie comes from a DISGUSTING source
The narrative that crime is skyrocketing in the U.S., pushed by Trump and his supporters, is largely inaccurate, as crime rates have been steadily declining for decades, including during both Trump’s and Biden’s presidencies. This narrative serves as political fodder, used to stoke fear and rally support by scapegoating immigrants, urban areas, and Democratic leadership. Much of this misleading information comes from John Lott, a controversial pro-gun advocate with a history of fabricating and distorting data. Lott has falsely claimed crime is rising, relying on outdated surveys and attacking FBI data, despite numerous credible sources, such as the CDC and crime victimization surveys, confirming that crime has generally been on the decline. His influence on Trump’s campaign has amplified these misleading claims, which not only fuel anti-immigrant rhetoric but also set the stage for disputing future election results by alleging widespread criminal activity, including illegal voting by immigrants. By perpetuating this false “crime wave” narrative, Lott and Trump seek to manipulate public perception, despite the overwhelming evidence showing that crime rates continue to decrease across the U.S.

I was crazy worried about the race y'day and am still concerned because it's been tight most of the way.
But FWIW, according to Simon Rosenberg, right-wing/Republican polls have swamped recent poll-tracking.
Such polls represented 12 of 15 recent polls.
Re Simon, this was MAGA's playbook in the 2022 mid-terms raising concerns of a 'red wave' that never existed.
Mr. Rosenberg maintains that Kamala is still holding "...narrow leads nationally and in the battleground states...".
Let's hope this is accurate.
Before I get too far into my cups this evening let me just say, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????!!!! Clown Prince Trump is ahead (marginally) after that excruciating, embarrassing, unprecedented, uncalled-for musical interlude at that rally?!?! WHAT presidential candidate presents like that? Is he serious? And yes, the people surrounding him do seem to be reacting somewhat confusedly—would that they were truly incredulous!—but no! Are they too *Canadian*,[eh] to throw in the towel and remove themselves from their discomfort in sharing the same stage as Trump? Not really. They belong to a CULT whether they like it or not!!
Please, stop this madness!! Trump is “a disgrace”. (Sound familiar?)
