"a sign of the tension between his populist rhetoric and the economic interests of his donor class." What?? When a wealthy man declares he is "A man of the people," he is lying because he wants something from you. He isn't a populist, he is con man.

OMG…. You mean that , finally, these corrupt people are voicing their opinions!?!? It’s hard to believe that anyone could not see through trump. He is the most transparent person that I have ever seen in politics. Hate shines brightly through tinted glass. But, then again, I don’t hate. I invite diversity. I choose to educate myself and not blindly and stupidly just take a man’s word above all else.

Listening to trump read off a list of those in attendance then stopping, suggesting they needed to move on for him only saying more names, so and so, are you here, etc. Then the mouse speaks, oh my! But what got me was Abbott blowing trump claiming that was the fastest recovery action ever done by a president! I quickly stopped watching, trump will sleep well tonight, oops, no, he won't.

I agree with Shea. Can you and your wife continue your work in another country? do it. What's the worst thing that could happen? You move back to the US in four years after a non-MAGA president is sworn in and laugh about how silly it was that we thought the country as we knew it had ended.
