Trump's cognitive decline can no longer be ignored
Donald Trump appears to be experiencing cognitive decline, as shown by frequent verbal mistakes and signs of confusion. Comparisons to other aging politicians suggest his decline is more severe than normal aging. This highlights the importance of addressing the real-world harm caused by his poorly considered decisions.
Trump's press secy CAN'T HANDLE questions about higher prices
Egg prices have surged to $7.76 per dozen, yet Trump faces little scrutiny despite his promise to lower costs on "day one." A year ago, Biden was heavily criticized for inflation, but media coverage now is far more lenient. Trump's press secretary Karoline Leavitt offered no clear timeline for price relief, only vague assurances that Trump is doing everything he can via executive orders.
From yesterday’s show:
Did Elon actually expose USAID?
Right-wing media falsely claimed that USAID secretly funded Politico, fueling a conspiracy theory after Politico missed a payroll due to technical issues. In reality, government agencies, including USAID, paid for Politico Pro subscriptions, which provide legislative tracking services. Despite clear evidence debunking the claim, MAGA figures continued to spread the misinformation, illustrating how right-wing media prioritizes loyalty to Trump over truth.
From yesterday’s show:
Bill Gates calls out Elon Musk's government takeover
Bill Gates criticized Elon Musk for aligning with the far right, suggesting Musk seeks power through right-wing populist movements. Gates warned against applying the tech industry's "move fast and break things" approach to government, emphasizing the need for stability in public institutions.

Elon Musk may be a billionaire, but that does not qualify him to examine our US Treasury and make decisions about what programs should be cut. He and his team are not certified accountants, nor are they knowledgeable about USAID programs--their purposes and goals, their operations, their staff requirements etc. These programs function to help families, children, students, researchers, victims of disease, starvation and climate disasters and more.
USAID programs are required to provide reports on spending, progress toward goals, expenditures etc. Most, if not all, are examined annually by certified accountants. You can be sure that Elon Musk and team simply do not have the time, experience, and judgment to determine the future of these programs. Only qualified accountants or knowledgeable experts should be given access to US Treasury programs.
