Trump TERRIFIED that his criminal trial will start soon, has mental breakdown
Donald Trump's desire for a trial in April 2026 was overridden by Judge Tanya Chutkan, who chose instead to set the trial for March 2024. This is concerning the federal case stemming from his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Trump posted to Truth Social about this, “Deranged Jack Smith & his team of Thugs, who were caught going to the White House just prior to Indicting the 45th President of the United States (an absolute No No!), have been working on this Witch Hunt for almost 3 years, but decided to bring it smack in the middle of Crooked Joe Biden’s Political Opponent’s campaign against him. Election Interference! Today a biased, Trump Hating Judge gave me only a two month extension, just what our corrupt government wanted, SUPER TUESDAY. I will APPEAL!” This incident highlights Trump’s concerns and desperation to evade accountability and mounting legal consequences.
WOW: Vivek Ramaswamy's interview with Sean Hannity goes REALLY BAD
Vivek Ramaswamy, 2024 Republican presidential candidate, is getting in the habit of backing down from extreme statements and blaming the media every time he faces criticism. The latest such example took place on Fox News during an interview with Sean Hannity and was over his nuanced stance on supporting Taiwan contingent upon semiconductor self-reliance. Ramaswamy's artful strategy of circumventing direct responses became further evident during queries regarding his perspectives on Israel's aid and international relations. Despite Hannity's persistent efforts to underscore Ramaswamy's logical inconsistencies, the potential effectiveness of this approach within the realm of Republican voters remains unclear. His impact will hinge upon the voters' perception of Ramaswamy's adeptness in addressing intricate subjects and whether he’ll be able to avoid making polarizing stances on policy matters in the first place.
From yesterday’s show:
Actual progressive Bernie Sanders destroys Cornel West's ridiculous campaign
Progressive Senator Bernie Sanders has come under scrutiny from certain factions of the progressive movement after he endorsed President Joe Biden's bid for reelection. Sanders, advocating for unity among progressives to fend off the ascent of autocratic figures like Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, has faced criticism from figures such as his ally Cornel West, who is running a third-party presidential campaign. In response, Sanders defended his position by underscoring the imperative of safeguarding democratic principles, protecting women's reproductive rights, and advancing social justice. The episode highlights the ongoing internal discourse among progressives regarding the most effective strategy for countering the Republican Party's increasingly authoritarian trajectory while pursuing shared progressive objectives.
From yesterday’s show:
MAGAs confuse different black woman with Trump prosecutor and chant "lock her up"
In a surreal twist, Trump supporters mistakenly identified Keisha Lance Bottoms, the former Atlanta mayor who is black, as Fani Willis, a black prosecutor charging Trump in Georgia. This mix-up occurred when Lance Bottoms showed up to the site of Trump’s fourth arrest. She recounted the incident on CNN and mentioned how chants of “lock her up” broke out because she was mistaken as Willis. While the situation has a bizarre and almost comical aspect, it also highlights the absurdity of assumptions made by some Trump supporters. Despite the mistaken identity, some individuals online justified their comments by claiming both women deserved legal consequences. This incident is emblematic of the larger MAGA movement's extremities and its propensity for unfounded claims and divisive rhetoric.
