Instead of paying premiums, deductibles, and copays to private insurers, everyone would contribute through taxes and receive comprehensive medical care free at the point of service. Studies show that this approach could save hundreds of billions annually in administrative costs and make healthcare more affordable for most families. Lower and middle-income households would pay less overall, while higher-income earners would contribute more, creating a fairer, simpler system that guarantees healthcare as a right for every American.
So join our movement. We can all go without alcohol, bottled beverages, coffee, soda, tea, etc. What we can't do is continue to support a broken healthcare system that primarily disadvantages the poor and working-class people of our country.
