OH $&!T: Judge Rules Trump Must Give Deposition in Rape Case
A federal judge has ruled that Donald Trump must appear for a deposition as part of the defamation lawsuit being filed by a woman who has accused the ex-president of rape. E. Jean Carroll is suing Trump for allegedly lying about the claims she made against him and for criticizing her appearance. Carroll says that Trump raped her at a Manhattan department store in the 1990s. The story got widespread attention during Trump’s presidency and the fact that he was in office at the time of the back-and-forth is what’s being used to try to get the case dismissed. Trump’s lawyers argue that the United States ought to be substituted as the defendant in this case since Trump was president at the time, and if so it needs to be dropped since the government cannot be brought to court for defamation. However, now US District Judge Lewis Kaplan has ruled that this argument does not hold enough water for a stay to be issued, meaning Trump will have to provide sworn testimony. This is certainly not the legal issue troubling the former president the most, but it’s shaping up to be a serious case nonetheless.
Alex Jones Ordered to Pay $1 BILLION in Latest Trial, FLIPS OUT
Infowars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been ordered to pay nearly a billion dollars to the Sandy Hook families he defamed. The jury awarded $965 million to many of the 26 families plus an FBI agent who was a first responder to the mass shooting. This decision from Connecticut comes two months after a jury in Texas awarded nearly $50 million to the parents of another Sandy Hook victim and there’s still one more trial to go. Jones was not in the courtroom when the verdict was read but instead chose to go ballistic from the comfort of his studio and use it as an opportunity to fundraise from his audience. He said on air, “they want to scare everybody away from freedom and scare us away from questioning Uvalde and what really happened there, or Parkland, or any other event. And guess what? We’re not scared, and we’re not going away, and we’re not going to stop. . . . So please go to infowarsstore.com . . .” Jones can’t help but continue down the same path that got him in this mess in the first place, but this judgment is probably too large for even his gullible audience to bail him out of.
From yesterday’s show:
There Are 4 Outcomes to 2022, 3 Are Pretty Bad
There are four possible outcomes of the 2022 midterms and three of them are bad from the vantage point of the left. Based on the FiveThirtyEight projections, the most likely scenario with a 46% chance of happening is that Democrats are able to hold the Senate but they lose the House. Next up, there’s a 24% possibility that the Republicans win both the House and Senate; this would be the doomsday scenario. There’s a 20% chance that Democrats break the trend of history and are able to hold onto both the House and Senate. And finally, there’s a slim possibility, at only 10%, that Democrats hold the House but lose the Senate. Depending on which of these play out, we could see a level of obstruction never before seen in the history of American politics. The most likely scenario of Democrats keeping the Senate and losing the House would not be the end of the world because they could still get through judicial nominations, but even in that case, Joe Biden could kiss his legislative agenda goodbye for the next two years.

YES: Biden "Re-Evaluating" US Relationship with Saudi Arabia
The Biden administration has announced they are reevaluating its relationship with Saudi Arabia in a move that has been a long time coming for the United States. The president promised this week to impose “consequences” on the Crown Prince for teaming up with Russia to lower fossil fuel production. In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Biden said, “I’m not going to get into what I’d consider and what I have in mind. But there will be consequences.” One possibility would be blocking the latest arms deal that the US has with Saudi Arabia. Well before the Saudi decision to get cozy with Russia, the country was deserving of losing its close relationship with the United States. From its human rights abuses to the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, there have been plenty of reasons to sanction Saudi Arabia and it’s good to see America finally moving in that direction.

Getting back to the issue of banning abortion: If the law can dictate whether a woman has the right to choose, look at it another way. Vascectomies should also be prohibited bacause they are standing in the way of an unborn child. It amounts to a pre-emptive termination of life. If they are so pro-life, then why would they have a vascectomy? Try and pass a law that interferes with MEN'S reproductive rights.
