Swollen Trump stuns crowd with most pathetic speech in history
Donald Trump held a 2024 campaign rally in Manchester, New Hampshire late last week. It was a particularly pathetic Trump speech, and he seemed agitated and irritated the entire time while listing out his many grievances. In what was billed as a “major announcement,” Trump said that he would be retiring the name “Crooked Hillary” and instead start calling Joe Biden “Crooked Joe Biden.” The crowd seemed to like it, even though the new nickname showed absolutely zero originality. Trump then quoted Vladimir Lenin and justified not debating in the Republican primary, citing Presidents Nixon, Reagan, and as Bush examples of why he shouldn’t need to. However, these comparisons don’t make sense because they were all incumbent presidents running for reelection, whereas Trump is not currently in office. For someone who purports to be headstrong and fearless, Trump seems terrified to debate his Republican opponents and wants to be handed the party’s nomination without having to try.
WOW: Ron DeSantis TOTAL MELTDOWN when asked about torture
Florida Governor and possible presidential contender Ron DeSantis continues to struggle when asked difficult questions by journalists. Over the weekend, DeSantis had a meltdown when asked about a former Guantanamo Bay detainee's claims of torture. DeSantis responded by berating the journalist and saying, “Do you honestly think that they would have remembered me from Adam? Of course not. They're just trying to get into the news because they know people like you will consume it because it fits your preordained narrative that you're trying to spin.” This is a worrying sign for DeSantis’s potential campaign since if he cannot handle a simple question without getting triggered, he’s not going to fare well in a debate against Donald Trump. Ron’s typical strategy is to attack the journalist asking the question, but this is not always an appropriate strategy since it often makes him look like he’s hiding something. DeSantis is simply not ready for prime time and his worsening performance in polling matchups against Trump suggests that he may decide not to enter the race after all.
From over the weekend:
Trump accuser under oath: "Donald Trump raped me"
The Donald Trump rape trial is currently underway in New York, but it is not receiving as much attention as it deserves. Writer E. Jean Carroll has testified under oath in court, seeking damages for battery after Trump allegedly sexually assaulted her in a New York department store changing room in 1996, and for defamation after he accused her of lying and perpetrating a hoax when she went public with her accusations in a book. Graphic details of the event have been revealed in court, and Judge Lewis Kaplan has warned Trump that he may have crossed the line into jury tampering after the former president posted an attack on Truth Social. The trial is being conducted without cameras in the courtroom, but reports of the proceedings are available. The trial has two parts, a defamation allegation against Trump and an actual assault allegation, which can be brought despite traditional statutes of limitations because of a specific New York law. It remains to be seen how this lawsuit will turn out, but it’s certainly one more thing the former president has to be panicking over.
From over the weekend:
WOW: Turns out MAGA is REALLY unpopular
According to a new national NBC News poll, the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement is wildly unpopular, with only 24% of Americans surveyed having a positive view of it. This is even less popular than former President Donald Trump himself, who has a net rating of -19, with 34% positive and 53% negative. Despite this, Trump and his MAGA movement are currently the 2024 Republican frontrunners, and if he becomes the nominee, he could easily win in the general election. The fact that moderate Republicans and centrists may not like the MAGA label or everything it stands for doesn't necessarily mean they won't vote for Trump anyway. Trump received 74 million votes in the 2020 election, which were not just from the fringe and extremists of the Republican Party. It is plausible that if Trump makes the same promises again, many of these people may fall for it again, and he could still win in 2024.

For Trump to say that E. Jean Carroll "is not his type" is admitting that if she HAD been his type, then that would have excused the action. In fact, 30 yrs ago, she WAS his type, and he grabbed her because he found her to be very attractive. Listen: 30 yrs hasn't been kind to HIM, and I am sure that she is as repulsed today as she was back then. He is a very ugly man, physically and mentally.
