Tulsi Gabbard Brutally Grills Liar Congressman George Santos
Tulsi Gabbard filled in for Fox News propagandist Tucker Carlson and to her credit, she actually took liar Congressman-elect George Santos to task during an interview segment. Santos has had to respond in recent days to revelations that he lied about his entire résumé, including his work history, education, and personal background. Tulsi told Santos, “you've outright lied. A lie is not an embellishment on a résumé. You said you worked at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, but they've said we've got no record of this guy working for us. You've said you've gone to and graduated from these universities, but they've said we've got no record of that. These are blatant lies. And it calls into question how your constituents and the American people can believe anything that you may say when you are standing on the floor of the House of Representatives.” Santos got more and more flustered as the interview went on, as he probably expected Tulsi to treat him with kid gloves. But to her credit, Gabbard actually did ask adversarial questions and effectively called out Santos for the fraud that he is.
Trump SCARED AS HELL in Deranged New Video
Donald Trump looked terrified in a recent campaign video he put out wherein he attacked the recent report from the January 6th Committee. There were a number of jump cuts throughout the segment, suggesting Trump couldn’t get through more than a few sentences at a time. He unconvincingly said, “we wanted security. We wanted safety. There was no insurrection and there wasn't going to be an insurrection. It was made up by these sick people.” The former president went on, “the unselect committee did not produce a single shred of evidence that I in any way intended or wanted violence at our Capitol. The evidence does not exist because the claim is baseless and a monstrous lie.” Of course, this is not the standard the committee had to prove. But it was also clear Trump wanted to remain in power by any means necessary with violence from his supporters being one such option to possibly achieve that. It’s not clear that Trump will end up convicted of any crimes or serving time in prison, however, the likelihood of charges stemming from January 6th increasingly appears to be a real possibility.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump Interview About "Cute" NFTs Goes Bad QUICK
Former President Donald Trump gave an interview to OAN’s Chanel Rion in which he was asked about his recent decision to sell NFT digital trading cards. Trump was asked whether the NFTs were meant to be an investment, to which he said no, and that they are just “cute.” The interviewer pointed out that NFTs have become a hot topic in the world of cryptocurrency, but Trump responded that the market for NFTs has cooled down and addressed how the reaction to his decision to sell them was largely negative. But Trump still went on to brag about them, saying, “I guess it was one of the most successful. Maybe the most successful. But it was certainly in terms of speed. The whole thing was sold out almost immediately.”Maybe Trump realizes that his run for president in 2024 isn’t going well, and he is therefore going into “grift mode,” looking for ways to make as much money as possible before his political career comes to an end.
From yesterday’s show:
Judge Tosses Kari Lake's Lawsuit into the Trash
A judge in Arizona has dismissed Kari Lake's election challenge, which claimed that the state's gubernatorial election was rigged against her. Judge Peter Thompson, who oversaw the two-day trial, ruled that Lake's legal team failed to provide clear and convincing evidence that the election was fraudulent, and that actually, election workers had tried their best and performed their roles with integrity. Lake has the option to appeal the case before Katie Hobbs, the winner of the election, is sworn in on January 2nd. The case ultimately may be taken to the Arizona Supreme Court. Lake has issued a statement claiming that her case provided evidence that the election was run outside of the law, and that she plans to appeal and drag out this process. Ultimately, she will fail and Katie Hobbs will become the next governor, as Hobbs clearly got more votes and Lake is being a sore loser and trying to get attention.
