Hershel Walker Wildly Accuses Raphael Warnock of Sexual Assault
The Georgia Senate runoff is going off the rails with Herschel Walker now baselessly accusing Raphael Warnock of physical and sexual assault. Walker spoke yesterday at a campaign event and said, “he’s an actor because y’all know what they did at that camp as well? Y’all may not have heard this. This young man said that was sexual abuse and that was physical abuse. And I’m like, who did that? It had to be Senator Raphael Warnock because he was responsible for it.” Clearly, Herschel is trying to make the case that Senator Warnock violated a child at a camp he was in charge of. But at the same time, it’s never all that clear if Walker knows what he’s saying because he often doesn’t make any sense. Apparently, Walker has had so many legitimate accusations levied against him, including that he paid for abortions and was an absent father, that he finds it appropriate to make things up about his opponent to have a shot at winning the race.
Trump FURIOUS, Republicans Telling Him to STAY AWAY from Georgia
Republican Party insiders are telling Donald Trump not to come to Georgia to try and help Herschel Walker ahead of the Senate runoff election. According to two sources, a number of Republicans and Trump allies have told him not to hold a rally. At the same time, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who won reelection earlier this month by nearly twenty points, is being asked to come to the Peach State to campaign for Walker. Not surprisingly, this is enraging the former president, who still claims to have a strong endorsement record and who wants to maintain an iron grip on the party. Hopefully, Trump decides to hold a rally in Georgia because he was a net negative for Republicans in the two Senate runoff races there that ended up giving control of the Senate to the Democrats back in early 2021. Maybe Trump will have the same negative effect this time and help mark an end to Herschel Walker’s campaign and political career.

DOJ Announces Trump Special Counsel, Indictment Seems Imminent
The Department of Justice announced late last week that a special counsel will be taking over the multiple federal investigations into Donald Trump. The probes are into possible crimes Trump committed when he took classified documents to Mar-a-Lago and in the leadup to the Capitol insurrection. Attorney General Merrick Garland said in his announcement that appointing a special prosecutor was the right thing to do since Trump has announced he is running for president again in 2024 and Joe Biden also intends to run for reelection. Jack Smith, the former chief prosecutor for the special court in the Hague, will be taking on the job. Of course, Trump responded to the news in the only way he knows how — by complaining. He told Fox Digital, “I have been proven innocent for six years on everything . . . I am not going to partake in it.” Sadly for Trump, the criminal investigations will continue whether or not he wants to “partake” in them.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump Has Been Unbanned from Twitter by Elon Musk
Donald Trump has been unbanned from Twitter nearly two years after getting kicked off the site for inciting an insurrection. Elon Musk, Twitter’s new owner, put out a poll asking people whether Trump’s account should be reinstated. By a narrow margin, the “yes” votes won and Musk responded by bringing back the former president’s account. Trump has so far not posted anything new since being allowed back on the social media platform. He insists that Truth Social is the home for him and the next big thing, even though the site barely gets any traction and is reportedly heading in the direction of bankruptcy. Getting back to tweeting seems like an important piece of Trump’s 2024 campaign but maybe he’ll be able to resist the temptation and stay exclusively on Truth Social these next two years.
