Trump soaking wet, rally goes horribly wrong
Failed former President Donald Trump once again skipped out on the Republican primary debate, this time choosing to hold a rally in Hialeah, Florida. The speech featured bizarre and disturbing moments, including the presence of Roseanne Barr and other off-the-rails figures who helped introduce the likely Republican nominee. The introduction speeches for Trump were marked by aggressive language and divisive rhetoric including one lady continually blurting our profanity. When Donald Trump finally took the stage, his speech featured numerous incoherent statements and factual inaccuracies, such as incorrectly stating that Kim Jong Un led 1.4 billion people (North Korea's population is 26 million) and once again falsely claiming that Hungary shares a border with Russia. He insisted that Joe Biden had indicted him, despite lacking evidence of Biden being involved in the four criminal cases. Trump also made the case that Biden wasn’t too old to be president, but rather that he was too incompetent, seemingly aware that the age argument could be turned against him. The rally was met with mixed reactions, with many seeing it as appealing to a specific crowd but questioning its broader impact on the Republican primary.
Nikki Haley Calls Vivek SCUM when he brings up her daughter
During the third Republican primary debate of the 2024 election season, there was a particularly contentious moment between Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley. While the debate initially revolved around crucial policy issues and their respective political stances, it took a surprising and personal turn when Ramaswamy chose to target Haley’s 25-year-old daughter. Ramaswamy commented on how she was on TikTok despite many of the candidates wanting to ban the social media app in the United States. Since Nikki Haley's daughter is an adult, it led many viewers and pundits to question the relevance of her social media activity to Nikki Haley's political positions and her ability to govern effectively. The discussion quickly escalated, with Nikki Haley firing back at Ramaswamy, telling him to leave her daughter’s name out of his mouth and calling him “scum.” While Ramaswamy did have moments of strength during the debate, this remark came across as irrelevant and ill-advised.
From yesterday’s show:
Dems win EVERYTHING, MAGA election nightmare
Recent elections in Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia have dealt significant blows to the Republican Party and provided a boost for Democrats, challenging the assumption that Joe Biden’s reelection campaign is doomed to fail. The abortion rights debate was central to these results, with Ohio passing a constitutional amendment ensuring access to abortion and Virginia seeing Democrats projected to secure control of the state legislature while Republicans advocated restricting abortions after 15 weeks. Although Virginia has a Republican governor, Glenn Youngkin, this was offset by the Democrats retaining control of the state's legislative branches. In traditionally conservative Kentucky, Democratic Governor Andy Beshear was reelected, highlighting the resonance of key economic issues even in red states. The Republican Party has faced a series of electoral setbacks, from 2016 to the 2022 midterms, and these results, where Democrats outperformed polls, underscore the unpredictable nature of electoral outcomes.

Attorney General LAUGHS UNCONTROLLABLY during Trump testimony
During former President Trump's court testimony, New York Attorney General Letitia James reportedly burst into laughter, raising questions about the ongoing civil fraud case against Trump. Facing 91 felony charges, this civil trial is a precursor to the four criminal trials that could potentially determine Trump’s ability to live as a free man for the remainder of his life. The crucial question is whether Trump's legal team will employ the same arguments in court as they do in the media, where they’re able to get away with lies and obfuscations. Trump and his team have consistently portrayed themselves as victims, alleging bias in the justice system. His court testimony has been described as incoherent and evasive, with his lawyer Alina Habba desperately attempting to portray him as a real estate expert. As Trump's defense phase begins, it remains to be seen if they will be able to mount anything resembling a coherent defense. The case's outcome will affect Trump’s wealth and his ability to conduct business going forward.
