ICE chaos as another one killed, Americans have had enough

All violence is wrong, but what the Trump administration is doing with immigration enforcement is a recipe for escalation. The killing of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old American citizen and ICU nurse, shows ICE operating like an unaccountable paramilitary force rather than normal law enforcement. When the state uses lethal force in public spaces and faces no consequences, it teaches society that violence is acceptable and effective. That predictably leads to retaliation, which authoritarians then exploit to justify more force, more repression, and fewer democratic restraints.
There is also a glaring gun hypocrisy at the center of this. MAGA and the NRA have spent years telling people that guns are necessary to resist a tyrannical government. But when a legally armed citizen appears to take that idea seriously, the state kills him and the same people cheer. Alex Pretti was legally carrying a firearm while filming and trying to help civilians. Suddenly the Second Amendment becomes conditional and the armed citizen is reframed as a domestic threat.
That contradiction becomes even clearer when comparing cases. The murder of Charlie Kirk was horrific and must be condemned, full stop. But it was committed by an individual who is being prosecuted and held accountable. The killing of Alex Pretti is different. It is institutional violence carried out by state actors who remain anonymous and protected. That normalization of government violence, not partisan sympathy, is what makes this moment so dangerous.
Kash Patel’s comments highlight this collapse of principle. He once defended Kyle Rittenhouse on due process grounds, arguing that legal gun possession mattered and accusations should wait for a verdict. Now Patel claims Alex Pretti’s killing was justified simply because he had a gun, despite the fact that carrying it was legal.
Donald Trump’s reaction has only made things worse. As public outrage grows, he has spiraled on Truth Social with conspiratorial rants, invented cover ups, and attacks on Minnesota officials.
At least local law enforcement is sounding the alarm. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara has said publicly that ICE is bringing chaos, not order, to the city. He pointed out that his department recovered hundreds of guns and arrested violent offenders without killing anyone, while federal agents arrived and within weeks people were shot and killed. This is the authoritarian feedback loop in action: flood a city with armed federal agents, escalate tensions, provoke protests, and then use the resulting chaos to justify even more force, all without accountability.
Trump’s unexplained health issues, including a large and recurring dark bruise on his hand, have raised serious questions that he refuses to answer transparently. His explanations do not match what people are seeing, and his long history of hiding medical facts only deepens concern.

(Obviously - our democracy loving Americans can take this suggested script, use some of it , or create your own script. I am serious, we cannot wait any longer for someone to save us , we the people have the power to do this …..if not now …WHEN?
Hopefully the Republican leadership, senators, congress and MAGA supporters can see that Trump is heading us into a dictatorship and authoritarian regime.
Besides millions of calls or emails to the full senate and /or Congress, along with mass national protests or work stoppage not shopping or spending money except for food , should be done . It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, or black or white or brown, or yellow, neighbors have to support neighbors everywhere and help those who may need food or a little help to get through this.
Now is the time to act we cannot wait any longer .
So copy paste and send this to 10 friends or family asking them to do the same thing over and over and over and we can get this information out and the Santa can get millions of calls and people can start thinking about a national protest in work stoppage …
