The ICE agent, Jonathan Ross. should face capital punishment.

Angus Young's avatar

And be on death row

Daniel H Laemmerhirt's avatar

It was almost CERTAINLY first degree murder! But at the same time, if your triggered response is MURDER, does "second degree" even matter?

KELTIK_WARRIOR (VINCE T 🦁 )'s avatar

"Second-degree murder is an unlawful killing done with malice aforethought but without the premeditation and deliberation required for first-degree murder, often involving intent to cause serious harm, extreme recklessness."

I am unclear as to your point. Why is my response "triggered."? Logically, he would not face murder in the first degree. This so-called "officer of the law" killed in cold blood.

I'm going to say these are necessary trials that will wake our complacent citizens up. IF these assholes are stopped--and punished as a lesson to them and their lunatic lemmings--then we will have a precious window to restore democracy and rule of law. If not, country of California here I come!

It is interesting that vetting of visitors to the US is much more in depth than vetting of ICE officers who will be permitted to carry weapons and terrorise (and even murder) US citizens.

Terrorism is only justice, prompt, severe and inflexible. It is the emanation of virtue. It is less a distinct principle than a natural consequence of the general principle of democracy applied to the pressing needs of a country. -Robespierre-

The word terrorism often gets a bad name. One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.

In the movie Mississippi burning when the FBI couldn’t get people to testify cooperate they brought in some specialists who terrorized members of the KKK. Eventually, these southern scumbags cracked and began turning on each other.

If you take a good look at the physicality of these ICE terrorists, you will see a bunch of fat boys who are used to throwing their way around both physically and in other ways. These people are losers in life and that’s why they enjoy bullying the meek and the weak. It won’t take much to get them to the crack and start turning on each other. Just because the law won’t hold them accountable doesn’t mean there won’t be held accountable and punished. Those weasels will be singing another tune when American Patriots turn up the heat on them.

HEAT MELTS ICE!

He didn’t even win the popular vote in 2024 He didn’t even win at all. Check out election truth alliance see what they found out when they checked out the data in the voting machines.

Blake Anderson's avatar

You're correct. To win all swing states for the first time in history? Not a snowballs chance in hell

Barbara Dillard's avatar

Yes, election truth Alliance says it’s one in like 10 quadrillion.

Nellie93's avatar

ETA found out how they did it. We need to stop it from happening again in the midterms. In 2024, Trumps team corrupted the software in the machines and created a fake county in each of the swing states to hold more than a million extra votes. Right before all of the votes were counted, they deleted a lot of votes from Kamala, transfered the extra votes held in the counties to Trump, then deleted the fake counties. They go into detail on how it was done & it's amazing.

please delete & leave out protestors name. It just helps put a target on his back for maga. Yes, I know in this day & age, pretty much anything kind be found on line. but why make it easy for the maga?

Carole's avatar

So can anybody tell me WHAT is the holdup with the 25th amendment?? How bad and unhinged does he have to get???

ICE shouldn’t be armed and they should take away pepper spray too. Who pays for all the damage to vehicles when they stop people???

Nellie93's avatar

If you had should read the 25th amendment, you would not have posted that comment. If you don't understand civics, use google.

Carole's avatar

Thank you Nellie93. My β€œcivics”is woefully inadequate! Evidently nobody could have foreseen the circus we currently have for our government! From Section 4 of the 25th amendment :

Declaration of Incapacity: The Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet (or another body Congress designates) must declare in writing that the President is unable to discharge their duties.

I don’t see the VP and cabinet having the grit to do their jobs, and Congress would surely have to get their act together to designate an alternate body- especially with the current DOJ.

Not sure impeachment does a thing given Trump’s been impeached twice~ hopefully midterms get us a potential remedy!!

Back in September from David:

β€œThe House must face this reality. If it fails to act, it will prove that impeachment itself is meaningless, that Congress has abandoned its role as a check on executive power, and that the First Amendment is now optional. And once that line is crossed, democracy itself becomes optional.

Trump’s earlier impeachments were serious, but his assault on free speech may be the most impeachable act yet. Because without the First Amendment, nothing else in the Constitution works.

This is the line. Cross it, and the First Amendment is gone. Cross it, and America stops being a democracy.

Donald Trump must be impeached.”

Where is the House? What’s keeping them from acting?

Angus Young's avatar

It HAS failed to act, that is right on. Impeachment is (seemingly) impossible as the above quote by David suggests.

Thank you for accurate reporting.

I do hope that ICE agents start quitting. Even jerks and racists will likely not be happy with how things are developing for them. Maybe this will prove to be a life lesson for some of them.

Angus Young's avatar

I would hope so Douglas. What concerns me is that ICE will become even more arrogant and violent against Americans (citizens and friendly folks here in America), and step up their violence against everyone because of their false egos.

Douglas Gilligan's avatar

Good news: Recent reports showed ICE agents backing down to an extremely mobilized population. When a person is harassed, attacked, the people respond en-mass.

ICE has taken to moving around in groups of at least ten, so they can have three or four to manage their victim, with the rest running interference with the crowd of protestors.

ICE agents are the ones living in fear of being 'outed'. They are the ones in hiding.

Yes, they have taken to casual attacks with smoke and flash-bangs. They attack people, grab them, then let them go, because they are NOT law enforcement.

The ICE of this administration was NEVER intended as law enforcement. Trump advertised it during is campaign. He talked about mass deportations, Millions, and he talked about the cities and how liberals were the problem, the enemy and he would even use the military. Why people never believed him is a mystery. But Trump has always been an idiot, and has always been his own worst enemy.

People make the mistake of thinking a few thousand men with guns can control a pair of cities with 750,000 people in it, with fear. That only works until the people take back their power.

Trump's administration has even advertised their weakness, because CARS are powerful weapons, and even in those liberal cities, there is over a hundred thousand with guns, not counting the police.

People tend to assume Liberals are the non violent ones, without weapons, helpless. Yes, both sides assume this, despite the fear mongering Trump pushes. But history keeps showing us, time and time again, it is the liberals who have the power, when they wake up and use it.

Douglas Gilligan's avatar

Bad News: I agree, War is ugly. Republicans have declared war on us decades ago, entitling them to lie and hurt us and break oaths... and just because we refused to engage in the war did not mean it was less real. Trump has just escalated everything (as is his way) and brought it out in the open.

The reality is, Trump and the Republicans at war with us have always been in the minority, but because they were willing to lie, and peddle in hate and fear, they were able to win a lot of elections. But now it is starting to become obvious to more and more people, their lies, their hate, their war...

Trump is desperate like no one before him, to stay in power, because he knows prison is waiting for him. So he keeps escalating as long as he sees a path to victory, even if it is a slender hope. As long as others allow him to keep going, he does.

What will stop Trump is when all the people wake up and see him for what he is. he will still have some followers, but not enough. The sad truth is, it will have to get even worse before enough will wake up, so we can make it better. the Republicans in congress have been in a state of fear of Trump for years, and it has only gotten worse because not only does he threaten to 'primary them', removing them from office, but he also aims his extremists like a club, knowing they will send countless death threats to any who 'betray' him. Aside from that their entire community of 'Conservatives' will largely turn on them, ostracizing their entire family. Their business ties will become fragile... They are captives to the hate filled troops that Trump uses to assert his control.

To free these politicians will require shrinking and isolating that hate filled base of his, which means it has to get worse.

Douglas Gilligan's avatar

"Finally, Trump is openly warning Republicans that losing Congress means impeachment,"

Consider his audience. If they lose their seat, they really do not care about Trump, unless they are looking for a job in his administration. I would not recommend that path, because in 2029, most of his political appointees will be fired and likely charged with crimes depending on how many of Trump's illegal orders they followed, or how many times they broke to law to keep him happy (same thing really).

If they remain in office, with Democrats having the majority, they figure they can simply revert back to the 'loyal opposition' role where they do everything they can to lie, badmouth Democrats, make baseless accusations, slow down the process etc... without the pressure to actually govern. Some of them may realize they burnt a few too many bridges and may not be able to pull half their games anymore.

Either way, Trump will not be their primary concern. In fact, in order to save their seats in the 2028 election, they may feel it is necessary to vote to remove Trump.

It all depends on how well we prepare for the Impeachment and NOT repeat our prior mistakes. Of course Trump has given us so very much to work with, and remember, we can still bring in all the crimes from his first term, including Jan 6, since many Senators voted that the process was flawed because he was no longer president at the time. FLOOD THE ZONE and show his pattern of criminality with so very many counts in each of so very many types of crimes... So very many reasons to remove. Use them ALL so that any excuse a Senator comes up with will be countered by another of Trump's crimes, abuses... until they would basically be saying they dishonor their 'trial' oath and do not consider the Constitution (which includes Impeachment) to be valid. I can hear them now, declaring the trial invalid because there are too many charges.
