MAGA Brains Break Over Biden Classified Docs
Republicans have been heavily focused in recent days on the revelation that Joe Biden was in possession of classified material that his lawyers turned over to the proper authorities. They are doing their best to claim that this makes Biden just as guilty as Donald Trump is, or maybe Trump isn’t even at fault at all and Biden is the only one who should be facing scrutiny. The truth is that there are no similarities between the circumstances of the two cases, as the documents left behind by Joe Biden were immediately reported to the National Archives when found, whereas there is evidence that Trump specifically directed for the documents to be taken to his residence. Trump also refused to comply with requests to send them over to the Archives and lied about doing so, leading to the search and seizure at his Mar-a-Lago home. Some right-wingers are making the case that this exonerates Trump and that the DOJ’s investigation into him on this matter should come to an end. Even if Biden was guilty of wrongdoing, that would do nothing to help or hurt Trump’s case as it’s a completely separate one and this is simply not how the American legal system works.
Republican Officials Demand George Santos Resign, He Says NO
The pressure continues to build on Republican Congressman George Santos to resign over the litany of lies he told during his campaign. Now, Nassau County, New York Republicans are calling on Santos to immediately step down and are saying he’s a disgrace to the House of Representatives. It has been a question ever since this scandal broke whether Republicans would hold one of their own accountable, especially when it could end up making the GOP’s majority even slimmer. So far, the calls for resignation are only at the local and state levels, but if more lies continue to get unearthed, it’s conceivable Republican leadership will ask him to step down. Santos deserves to resign in disgrace for his actions and should never have been able to get into the halls of power this way.

UH-OH: MyPillow Mike Lindell TURNS On Marjorie Taylor Greene
There is now a growing rift within the Trumpian wing of the Republican Party and the latest example of this is MyPillow guy Mike Lindell turning on Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Lindell is unhappy with Greene's vote for Kevin McCarthy and suggested that she was probably bribed with some kind of promise. He said during a media appearance, “I'm telling you that I know these guys, if they have made promises to the grassroots, they've made promises to the people. . . . I'm very surprised that the one — I won’t name her name, but it's Marjorie Taylor Greene, that she broke her promise.” All of these figures, from Lindell to Greene to so many others in Republican circles, are primarily concerned with publicity, attention, and staying in Trump's good graces. They don’t actually care about who would make the best House Speaker, what would be best for their party, and certainly what would be best for the country.

Trump CFO Sentenced to JAIL
Allen Weisselberg, the former CFO of Donald Trump's organization, has been sentenced to five months in jail for multiple tax crimes related to Trump's businesses. The crimes are reported to have taken place over a period of fifteen years and were part of a systematic scheme to defraud state and federal tax authorities. Weisselberg is expected to begin serving his jail term in New York City's Rikers Island. The frustrating aspect of this case is that Donald Trump, who was in charge of the entire operation, likely won’t face any consequences personally for his business’s wrongdoing. This is just the latest example of the people working under Trump getting in trouble with the former president being able to skate by. Maybe Trump’s ability to skirt legal consequences will come to an end soon, but it sure hasn’t happened yet.
