DAMN: Leaked Trump audio CONFIRMS Trump's crimes
CNN has obtained an audio recording from 2021 in which Donald Trump discusses classified documents, contradicting his claims of declassifying everything while in office. The recording, aired on Anderson Cooper's program, exposes Trump's alleged crimes and lies as he acknowledges possessing confidential documents and their classified nature. Trump admits he could have declassified the documents as president but states they remain secret. This evidence is likely to play a significant role in Trump’s trial, reinforcing the case against him and highlighting his alleged criminal behavior. The revelation bolsters concerns about Trump's possession and discussion of classified information after leaving office. Before the tape came out, Trump told Fox News’s Bret Baier in an interview that the discussion in question was about showing newspaper clippings and articles, even though by definition, those would not be classified government documents. The audio recording proves he was lying and provides compelling evidence that will be a major challenge for Trump to deal with in the ongoing legal proceedings.
Robert F Kennedy Jr explains his views on vaccines (SCARY!)
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently appeared on Bill Maher's podcast, Club Random, where he talked extensively about his views on vaccines. Kennedy claims to not be anti-vax but instead advocates for safe vaccines. However, his views often lack a factual basis and he doesn’t moderate his opinions when presented with data. Kennedy asserts that there are over 100 studies linking vaccines to autism, but the list he references has been compiled by an anti-vax website with a biased agenda. Many of the papers on the list do not actually address the vaccines-autism connection, while some have been retracted or contain methodological flaws. Kennedy's arguments rely on cherry-picking studies that suggest a correlation between vaccination rates and autism without establishing a causal link. He fails to consider confounding factors, such as better diagnostic capabilities in states with higher vaccination rates. Moreover, the very pediatrician he cites as a source disavowed him and his misrepresentation of their views. Extensive research by reputable organizations like the CDC and the National Academy of Medicine has found no credible evidence linking vaccines to autism. Kennedy's own words and arguments reveal the lack of scientific basis for his views on this topic that he has made a focal point in his presidential campaign.
From yesterday’s show:
Putin survives coup attempt, for now. What's next?
A failed coup attempt orchestrated by the Wagner Group, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, aimed to overthrow Russian President Vladimir Putin. Prigozhin, once a close associate of Putin, accused the Russian defense minister of betrayal and alleged attacks on Wagner's troops. The coup involved tanks and troops marching toward Moscow but was ultimately thwarted. The reports are that the coup attempt was foiled by the Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko who brokered a deal between Putin and Prigozhin, allowing Prigozhin to escape to Belarus in exchange for some kind of safe haven. Some view the coup attempt as a potential opportunity for democratic change, while others condemned it for jeopardizing stability and national security. The aftermath and long-term consequences of this remain uncertain. The question of what comes next for Putin and Russia has no clear consensus but speculation ranges from a face-saving exit from Ukraine to continued leadership amid political turbulence.
From yesterday’s show:
Should scientists and doctors debate anti-vaxxers?
Dr. Peter Hotez was invited to go on the Joe Rogan Experience to debate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about the efficacy and safety of vaccines. This has sparked controversy over the question of whether doctors and scientists should engage in debates with anti-vaxxers. Dr. Hotez argues against debating, stating that it legitimizes their views and gives them a platform to spread misinformation. Instead, he suggests focusing on educating the public and addressing vaccine concerns individually. However, proponents of debating believe a back-and-forth could expose flaws in anti-vaxxer arguments and have the potential to change minds. In any given situation, the decision depends on factors like the audience and format, with structured debates and a conflicted audience being more beneficial than ones without rules and a biased audience. It also depends on the charisma and rhetorical skills of the participants. Ultimately, there is no clear-cut answer, and the effectiveness of engaging in debates with anti-vaxxers depends on the specific context and circumstances.

Hey, David.
I’m subscribed. But I don’t understand how any of this stuff works. I can make the excuse that I’ll be 66 in less than a month. I really wanted to be able to listen to the bonus show and other stuff. I think I heard you say that there were discounted memberships. If that is true, I would like to have someone get in touch with me and help me figure out how I can manage it on my budget. I know it sounds crazy and it is not even $10 a month, but it would actually a bit much for me.
My budget includes looking after seven special-needs cats that I have rescued or my roommate has rescued. In my case, the five that I call my own were the ones I was first to touch or rescue. I can’t give them up and I can’t turn them away.
And they’re a little like a house full of toddlers. We have our own special version of bouncing off the walls.
Having a new baby girl (by the way, congratulations) I’m sure you are enjoying a great deal, I know you probably understand.
I am very disappointed that RFK Jr is taking such a controversial stance on vaccinations. That COVID has taken the lives of a million people is lost in his discussion. Many of us have lost relatives and friends from the disease. His father would be ashamed of him. I certainly am.
