I am in the same position you are in terms of age and dependence on SS and Medicare. I have been calling and emailing my (unfortunately) Republican senators, representatives and governor (my state is one that's been targeted for re-districting) regularly. I have donated where I can, but nowhere near what I'd like to be able to. We are all in this together and each does what he or she can. Hopefully, soon it will be enough to drive our insane president and his evil goons from office. And, hopefully, one day soon the Republicans in Congress will also wake up and fight back, although I have much less hope this will come to pass. Hang in there.
