Soaking wet Trump "endorses" Kari Lake in video mostly about himself
Kari Lake has announced her candidacy for the Senate, taking on incumbent independent Kytsten Sinema and Democratic challenger Ruben Gallego. Lake gained national notoriety in 2022 as a Republican gubernatorial candidate in Arizona who contested the results of her loss to Katie Hobbs and made various claims of fraud and wrongdoing. Although her previous attempts to secure the governor's seat were unsuccessful, she managed to raise significant funds under the pretense of potentially becoming governor. Former President Donald Trump endorsed Lake following her senatorial campaign announcement, but his endorsement video mainly focused on himself and his ambitions, with only a brief mention of Lake. In terms of polling, a recent Democratic-leaning survey showed Gallego leading Lake and Sinema. Sinema's support may shift to either Lake or Gallego if she decides not to run, making the race an interesting one to watch.
Hannity AMBUSHES RFK Jr now that he directly threatens Trump
Fox News initially supported Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s primary run against Joe Biden as a means to create chaos within the Democratic Party and potentially help Trump. However, Kennedy's decision to run as an independent candidate has raised concerns at Fox. In a recent interview, Hannity challenged Kennedy, highlighting his left-leaning positions on various issues to portray him as a far-left candidate, likely aiming to dissuade potential Trump supporters from considering him. Recent polling data suggests that Kennedy's candidacy has not significantly altered the dynamics between Trump and Biden, leaving many voters undecided. This situation poses a challenge for Republicans, as it remains uncertain whether Kennedy will continue to attract Democratic voters or if he will begin drawing Republican support. Fox News's evolving coverage of Kennedy reflects their worry that he could jeopardize the chances of the eventual Republican nominee in the upcoming election.

OH NO: Trump's Israel leak under scrutiny after Hamas attack
In the wake of a devastating Hamas terrorist attack in Israel, fresh scrutiny is being directed toward leaks involving Donald Trump during his presidency. A recent Newsweek article delves into the leak of classified information related to Israel's intelligence, which has resurfaced in the context of the Hamas attack. Back in 2017, Trump's discussion of sensitive details regarding an alleged ISIS plot with Russian officials in the Oval Office raised concerns about the potential damage to the U.S.-Israel relationship and the sharing of crucial intelligence with adversaries. Now, there's growing speculation about whether Trump's actions that day indirectly contributed to Iran's support of Hamas during the recent attack. The theory suggests that Iran may have acquired intelligence from Russia, which could have originated from Trump's sharing of information. The recent tragedy underscores the need for a thorough reevaluation of Trump's actions in this regard, even though this debate has persisted for years.

Trump casually calls Israeli dead "incredible," reads poem at sick speech
Trump's recent campaign speeches in Iowa and New Hampshire have garnered attention for their emotionally inappropriate tone and bizarre transitions between subjects. In Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, Trump mispronounced Hamas as "hummus" while discussing the Israeli attack and seamlessly segued into reciting "The Snake" poem, leaving the audience bewildered. The poem tells the story of a tender-hearted woman who encounters a half-frozen snake and takes it in to nurse it back to health. Despite her kindness, the snake eventually bites her, leading to her death. In the end, the poem delivers a cautionary message about the danger of harboring or trusting those with malicious intentions. During his weekend speeches, Trump also confused ID badges for events with voter ID, arguing that the voting process isn’t adequately secure. Despite these oddities, Trump's popularity in the 2024 Republican primary remains formidable, polling at over 57%, while his competitors like Ron DeSantis have witnessed significant declines in support.
