RFK Jr's campaign just effectively ended
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s presidential campaign is facing significant challenges and appears to be nearing its end. In the past 24 to 48 hours, his campaign has suffered several setbacks, including failing to qualify for the upcoming presidential debate. Kennedy has also seen a sharp decline in polling, dropping from 16-18% to just 3-4% in most polls, with the Fox News poll being a rare exception showing him at 10%. Despite these figures, he has not met the necessary 15% threshold in four major national polls, nor has he secured spots on enough state ballots to realistically compete for the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. Kennedy's campaign is also struggling financially, spending more money than it is raising. His limited ballot access—only nine states—further diminishes his chances. Even hypothetically aligning with a party with broader ballot access or launching write-in campaigns would not realistically lead to victory. The worst impact Kennedy might have is potentially flipping a critical state from Biden to Trump, inadvertently helping Trump win. Overall, Kennedy's campaign has faltered, with dwindling support, financial struggles, and a lack of viable paths to victory.
Trump goes FULL FASCISM, demands Fox News FIRINGS
Former President Donald Trump is exhibiting fascist tendencies by demanding the removal of Paul Ryan from the board of Fox News or News Corp. Trump's frustration stems from a Fox News poll showing a seven-point swing toward Joe Biden. On his platform, Truth Social, Trump attacked Fox and labeled Ryan as weak, ineffective, and disloyal, urging the Murdochs to replace him with Trump loyalists. This demand is seen as an attempt to control the media to suppress dissent and ensure favorable coverage, a tactic reminiscent of historical fascist regimes like Nazi Germany, Stalin's Soviet Union, Mussolini's Italy, Franco's Spain, and Castro's Cuba, which all controlled media to propagate ideology and silence opposition. Critics argue that Trump’s actions betray the principles of the rule of law, free speech, and independent institutions, which his supporters claim to uphold, highlighting the hypocrisy in their stance.
From yesterday’s show:
COWARD Trump candidate RUNS AWAY from interview with me
A scheduled interview on TDPS with Trump-endorsed MAGA Republican Pastor Mark Burns, a candidate for the U.S. House seat in South Carolina's third district, was abruptly canceled. The interview was organized by Burns' campaign team, but instead of Burns, a different individual, his communications director, wanted to take his place at the last minute. This individual claimed Burns was too busy with the upcoming election, and insisted he would handle the interview. The decision to back out was likely made to avoid tough questions about election lies and controversial statements made by Burns. David intended to question Burns on topics like his support for the idea that Biden did not legitimately win the 2020 election, his desire to make Christianity the law of the land, and other extreme views. While it’s disappointing that the interview was canceled, it clearly demonstrates an act of cowardice by someone likely to become a member of Congress.
From yesterday’s show:
Trump suffers SEVEN POINT SWING to Biden, Fox News PANICS
A recent Fox News poll reveals a significant seven-point swing away from Donald Trump towards President Joe Biden. The poll now shows Biden leading Trump 50% to 48%, a reversal from previous months where Trump was ahead. While some Fox News hosts are downplaying the shift as within the margin of error, the increasing certainty among voters, with 98% now decided, underscores the importance of this change. The poll also highlights that the future of democracy is the most important issue for voters, which does not bode well for Trump. Despite reassurances from Fox hosts like Brian Kilmeade and Brett Baier, who emphasize the close margin, the shift is notable. The debate is highly anticipated due to ongoing discussions about Biden's and Trump's cognitive abilities. Historical data suggests debates rarely change election outcomes significantly unless a candidate performs exceptionally poorly. Nonetheless, the poll's seven-point swing and the upcoming debate have heightened interest and stakes in the race.
