Impeachment without conviction and removal has become meaningless. He probably would welcome impeachment at this point because it fits his beleaguered and persecuted narrative. Yes, he should be impeached. And it is not enough.

We need at least a majority in both the House and the Senate. With a majority in the Senate we can modify the rules so that Senators can vote by secret ballot without fear of reprisal. Same reason we use Secret ballots in our elections. Sure, Senators SHOULD be brave enough to publicly state their votes, but they have proven they are not that brave.

Yes, but it is also HOW we win, by providing an actual, pragmatic plan to remove Trump, but if we want to win we also have to present plans for legislation etc... for what we can do once we also have the white house. Dangle it all out there so people can see what they are voting for, not just what they are voting against.

For the impeachment itself, we should prepare that openly, in advance, so people can see ALL the reasons to remove Trump. "Flood the zone" with overwhelming number of reasons to remove Trump from office with overwhelming evidence. Once we win the 2026 elections, the removal should be quick and decisive with popular opinion already on our side, basically a 'mandate'.

Exactly. Everybody throws that word around…There’s a LOT more to it. The thug has BEEN impeached.. he was not Convicted…and here we are.

Same thing goes for the 25th Ammendment. Yes. It should happen…BUT..Folks need to understand what it takes to make that happen. Both of these procedures require a Functioning Bipartisan Congress…A willing Cabinet… Trump's “own people” in the Cabinet and Congress would have to be on board. I'm sure there is stuff I'm accidentally leaving out, ut that's the general gist of it.

Impeachments in 'modern' memory:

Nixon - never happened, because it was obvious from the Republicans that it WOULD happen.

Clinton - lied under oath in a civil case that failed because even if every accusation was true, it was still not against the law (per the judge), about an extramarital affair, on the basis of the definition of 'sex'. Not exactly a constitutional issue or relating in any substantial way to the governance of the nation, bribery, insurrection etc... Not convicted in the senate.

Trump (1st) - Brought a narrow charge about abuse of power in foreign affairs with very strong evidence. Republicans claimed at the very beginning of 2020 that "we should let the people decide" in an election 11 months away.

Trump (2nd) - Brought a narrow charge focused on his efforts to violently overthrow the fair election of Biden (People decided). Since the major aspect of the crime happened on Jan 6, (16 days before Biden took office) and the trial was held after Trump was no longer in office, so that all that would be decided was his inability to hold office again, and as later decided by SCOTUS, his ability to be charged for crimes committed during his time in office, the Republicans claimed the impeachment was improper because it was 'too late', he was already out of office, and he could be charged with the crimes in court...

So, we have learned that Republican politicians are afraid of Trump, and that they will evade taking responsibility to publicly remove Trump, finding any bogus argument they can. So this time we Flood the Zone. Bury them in Trump's massive widespread systematic violations of his oath, his endless crimes and bribery etc... and negate all their excuses. If we are prepared ahead of time, we can impeach right away, close to two years before the next election, while still in office. Per the constitution Trump can not be elected President again. It will be obvious his crimes go far beyond some technicality, and we will ensure each senator can vote without fear of reprisal, by using secret ballots, just like in our elections.

Like impeachment/conviction/removal, action under the 25th Amendment depends on Congress. Congress must decide whether the president is incapacitated by a two-thirds vote. With its current makeup, that scenario is hard to envision. And even if he were removed, the vice president then becomes Acting President. I fear we have a better chance of aliens coming to save us all than we do relying on the 25th Amendment, unfortunately. (winking emoji)

But in order to make short work of it, will require a document of my design, that localized all military units instead of having them abroad. The government has long been reluctant to label religious cults terrorists unless they espoused fire bombing, assassinations, or similar, which is what NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) has called for with their Seven Mountain Mandate. We can add to that his usurping Congressional authority and taking away funds that Congress has appropriated. Not only that, he has used his position and authority to threaten the media and law firms.

He has grossly profited during this term, with his cryptocurrency, bitcoin and other financial moves, adding $3 billion to his net worth this year.

Violation of the Posse Comitatus Act and abusing the reach of the military and federal law enforcement.

I could go on all day about grabbing back scientific research funds, accepting gifts from foreign governments and just being a nepotistic criminal, but you should get the gist.

If Bill Clinton could be impeached for obstruction and perjury over Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky, then your boy’s laundry list could support a multitude of articles of impeachment.

Yes, Trump must be impeached and removed from office, for LOTS of reasons.

We have seen that impeachments are very political in how the legislature handles them. TOO many Politicians are more focused on their next election and staying in office, than on fulfilling their oaths of office. Trump still has too much influence over the MAGA base and others who will vote as he tells them to, meaning Republicans who oppose him will be primaried and lose their seat.

Until we have the majorities we cannot change the rules.

First off, the impeachment this time should cover EVERYTHING that is even remotely a valid reason to remove Trump from office, and that includes EACH and every bribe, extortion, criminal act, violation of the constitution and our laws which he has been doing wholesale... His failing mental health which was the foundation of the 25th amendment, showing it is a valid reason for removal. Include the obstruction charges carefully listed in the Mueller report, obstructions committed while in office. Include the First impeachment charges again, because many voted against it on the basis of 'let the voters decide' because that worked so well last time... His violation of the 14th amendment, section 3 when he pardoned all of those insurrectionists. It include all of the crimes etc of Jan 6, because their claim last time was it was not valid because he was no longer president... Go BIG, and then make the vote in the Senate, for removal, and per crime, by secret ballot. Noting that each individual count of each crime constitutes by itself sufficient reason to remove from office. In our elections we use Secret ballots for a reason, and that reason exists in congress on issues that are very political in nature, such as convicting a president.

If you want to impeach Trump, make the case, by listing ALL of the reasons, along with the evidence to back the charges. Remember, this is not a court of law, so make the reasons compelling reading, not for the law students but for the people. They do not need to be limited to crimes that can be charged in a court of law. Place the charges in categories, each with a number of charges in that category. Then make it easy to access and read by anyone and everyone, then just point to it. Any time Trump or others lie about it, just point to the site and all the evidence there.
