BREAKING: Joe Biden Has COVID
The White House announced this morning that President Biden has tested positive for COVID-19. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre released a statement that said in part, “This morning, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19. He is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and experiencing very mild symptoms. He has begun taking Paxlovid. Consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.” Biden’s mild symptoms include a dry cough, runny nose, and fatigue. Hopefully the 79-year-old makes a speedy recovery and the infection does not reach too many other staffers at the White House and members of the Biden family.
Trump Had "Extreme Difficulty" with Speech After Trump Riots
Tonight is expected to be the conclusion of the January 6th committee hearings. This edition will cover how Donald Trump visibly struggled through his post-riot speech on January 7, 2021, as outtakes of the speech will be made public. The videos will show that the then-president didn’t want to say certain things and was walking a tightrope between condemning the violence at the Capitol while also expressing that he appreciated the support he got. This was the speech wherein Trump accepted that a new administration would soon be taking over, which many interpreted as a concession. Depending on what is shown tonight, this could end up being the most revealing hearing yet from the January 6th committee.

Homophobic Gay Pastor Jesse Lee Peterson Causes Car Accident While Running from Questions
Right-wing radio host and pastor Jesse Lee Peterson was trying to evade questions from a reporter about allegations that he’s gay and he arguably caused a car accident in the process. Jesse is actively homophobic and is now having a tough time responding to claims from a number of men that he made advances on them and had relationships with some of them. The video of the incident took place in Los Angeles outside of Peterson’s counseling center and a nearby post office. The reporter called out Jesse for his hypocrisy of saying it’s wrong for people to be homosexual while seemingly being gay himself. In an attempt to get to privacy as quickly as possible, Peterson approached a crosswalk with his body language suggesting he was going to jet out into the street without waiting for cars to stop first and let him cross. This caused a car to have to slam on its breaks and another car to rear-end them, resulting in a significant amount of damage. Jesse then walked away from the scene as if nothing happened. As much as he’ll try to run from the issue, Jesse is clearly troubled by the walls closing in on his projection and hypocrisy.

Openly Gay Oklahoma Mayor Resigns Over Threats to His Safety
In a sign of how emboldened right wingers have gotten, the first openly gay mayor of a town in Oklahoma had to resign over threats to his safety. The Village Mayor Adam Graham took office in May and made it known that since taking the job he’s been followed home, accosted while walking his dog, and had his tires slashed. Graham posted his full resignation letter to Twitter, along with a blurb that read, “For almost five years, I've proudly served The Village as Councilmember and Mayor. It's been an honor to serve and it's been my great privilege to break boundaries. I no longer feel safe to serve in my capacity here. It's with a heavy-heart that I tender my resignation.” It seemed like many even on the far right in America were heading in the direction of being more tolerant toward LGBT people. Now, with the extremist Supreme Court rolling back basic rights and the Trumpian movement getting desperate, it appears many parts of the country are ready to reclaim the bigoted positions they openly expressed decades ago.
