Tucker Carlson FIRED by Fox News!
Fox News has fired Tucker Carlson, with the conservative network releasing a statement saying the two parties have mutually agreed to part ways. It’s still not totally clear why Carlson was fired but there are a number of possible reasons. One of them is related to the Dominion lawsuit against Fox News, which led to a settlement of $787.5 million in favor of Dominion. What also could have led to his firing is the text messages released from the lawsuit revealed that Carlson was critical of Fox management. Another possibility is the forthcoming lawsuit related to harassment allegations within Tucker Carlson's production team. Ray Epps, a man who was in Washington, D.C. on January 6th, 2021, has also hinted at a potential lawsuit against Carlson for signal-boosting conspiracy theories about him. While the country may be better off with Carlson off the air, he will likely find another platform to spout his propaganda and some are speculating that he may even run for president.
Trump gives most confused interview in history to Newsmax
Failed former President Donald Trump was interviewed on Newsmax by Greg Kelly. During the interview, Trump was asked about his opinion on Carlson's firing, despite Carlson's previously expressing disdain for Trump. Trump gave a confusing response, saying that he was “shocked” and “surprised” and that Carlson was “a very good person” who had been “terrific to me.” However, some are interpreting a smirk on Trump's face while he was saying this to indicate that he felt that Carlson had got what was coming to him. Trump also discussed the recent turmoil at Fox News, where he noted that the network had paid out almost $800 million in a lawsuit that Carlson's coverage had partially contributed to. Trump also discussed Ron DeSantis, saying he is disappointed in him for being disloyal after Trump helped him get elected governor of Florida. Trump will likely continue this line of attack against DeSantis up until the point DeSantis launches his presidential campaign or announces that he’s not running.

Pro-freedom Ben Shapiro wants to ban men from wearing women's clothes
Conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro believes that local communities should be able to ban men from wearing traditional women's clothing in public as it may be considered lewd and lascivious. Ben is exposing himself as a hypocrite on this issue since this proposal goes against the principle of freedom and liberty that right-wingers claim to espouse. Such a ban would likely be illegal under the Constitution's right to freedom of expression and the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment. Furthermore, the idea of what constitutes traditional women's clothing varies by society and time period, making it impractical to enforce. The proposal also perpetuates outdated notions of gender roles, and there is a broader pattern of the so-called freedom crowd wanting to control people's lives based on arbitrary and changing ideas. Ultimately, this proposal is absurd and has little chance of becoming reality, but it further proves how right-wingers aren’t actually the side that’s for individual freedom.
From yesterday’s show:
DeSantis visibly shaking when asked about Trump-dominated polls
Ron DeSantis is continuing his pre-presidential announcement tour and is looking unprepared and foolish as he does so. A recent video of the Florida governor shows him visibly shaking and erratically smiling when asked about his low polling numbers compared to former President Donald Trump. It seems likely that DeSantis's response to this question was coached to make him look cheerful since he’s often hit with the criticism that he has low charisma and little drive to fight against former President Trump. Indeed, DeSantis trails far behind Trump, 23% to 53% in the Real Clear Politics average of recent polls. Perhaps these numbers will improve if and when DeSantis makes his official announcement. It’s also entirely possible that the enthusiasm surrounding DeSantis has dwindled so much that he will decide to skip the race altogether.
