A modest proposal:

Regardless of when or what brings Trump down, we STILL need to fully document his crimes, lies, sins, violations of oath of office, violating the constitution (regardless of what SCOTUS claims), disqualified by the 14th amendment, section 3...

Come the day when Trump is cast out, there will be calls from the media, and from both sides to let it be, to put it all in the past, to just move on. That will be wrong. You do not heal a psychological wound by ignoring it. We have to face what happened as a nation. We will not need to vilify the average citizen who was caught up in it all, but we will need to remember ALL the guard rails that were supposed to protect us, that failed us. We will need to see with clear eyes exactly how bad Trump was in every single way so we can make sure we never fall for that again. Just like a person abandoned by a cult, because the cult leader ran away, learns from what had happened and vows to never get caught up in it again, they have to face what happened.

Our media, our government, too many in Congress, too many States, too many in our Supreme Court were either unable or unwilling to stop Trump's destruction of our nation.

The solution is to document everything, organize it all, build an online (free and accessible) record of all his crimes etc... and the evidence that proves them. This must be non-partisan, just like a prosecution. This must not be a fundraising vehicle, for that just turns people off. Trump has been getting a 'volume discount'. The more crimes and sins he commits the less people find them credible and the harder it is for them to wrap their brains around what Trump really is. Organize it like Wikipedia, to recruit sources from all over.

If Trump is still a force in the 2026 election cycle, this will help to discredit him and his minions. If Trump is still in office come 2027, this will be the tool to create an impeachment, this time holding NOTHING back, no more Mr nice guy. Tear down every excuse every Senator gave to not convict in his first two impeachments and this time, make the senate vote by secret ballot. Too long many of the Republicans have been able to pretend they were still 'decent people', just afraid of Trump, so we remove the fear and let them show what they truly believe. Either way it will show us the true nature of the Republican party.

100% agree. And we’ve done that before. Swept it under the rug. Moved on, focus on the future not the past…. Blah blah blah.. instead of holding people accountable. I guarantee you they would do it to the Dems. They’re doing it even when Dems haven’t done anything!!!

The Supreme Court is a joke and it appears there is no way to stop the corruption. Which branch (if we ever get back to normal) can stop this MAGA nonsense from their rulings????

Do you think Elon Musk stands to gain the most from the latest Epstein scandal blowup? From where I sit, Musk has the cash and clout to sway Trump supporters from the grassroots hustlers to the elite insiders. Republicans are desperate for an exit from 'Trumpistan,' but the Dems' offramp feels like a total non-starter. Enter Elon and his 'America PAC'—it seems like the perfect detour. Him igniting this powder keg with his tweets? Starting to add up big time. Wild speculation or spot-on? Thoughts?

It is mystifying to me why MAGAS, who really would let Trump shoot someone and get away with it, are riled up over Epstein. Not one word about all the devastating cuts but THIS is what finally gets to them?

Hi David, I've been watching your YouTube channel for years. I respect your opinions and analysis. My question is about why the GOP in congress and across the nation fear trump. Kind of made sense when he was polling well. But now? Lisa Murkowsky said Republicans are afraid. Of what? Thank you for keeping us informed.

Hey David,

I admire your work and how you've built your show. I'm a naturalized U.S. citizen from Chile, born with cerebral palsy, and use a wheelchair. I recently launched a Substack about politics and disability justice.

How did you start The David Pakman Show? What helped you stay motivated and grow early on? Your insight would mean a lot as I work to make my voice heard.

How is it that Trumps’ Deputy AG is allowed to speak to Maxwell out of the prison so no conversation can be recorded, and isn’t what he’s doing witness tampering since she’s been subpoenaed by Congress to testify?!! No conflict of interest given her attorney and the AG are good buddies?

CBS is negotiating a merger with Skydance. The sale has to be approved by the Trump admin and Colbert was likely going to be an issue for getting it approved. If Trump had anything to do with that merger you can guarantee he would have been involved.

Hi David,

I'm working with Swing Blue Alliance (Swingbluealliance.org) We have developed tools to help counter right-wing disinformation and need to get them out to as many Democratic leaders as possible. Can you help connect us to democratic leadership like Eric Swalwell?

We live in a time, unlike any other in history, when anyone, particularly people with a public profile, can say things that are patently false, or just flat out made up, and say them over and over again. Poisoning the well of public & political discourse and discussion. Maybe AI can be of some benefit in combating this.

(Not really pertinent in terms of topical, but kind of, in a a way, in that I hope someone forwarded you 'The Pakman Zone' series I sent the other day. I've no idea how else to get them to you, other than the info address where attachments can be sent. Part of the inspiration: as you say in your preface, "I hate politics." Think of these as an attempt at custom-tailored levity in the bloated sweating face of horror). Take care of yourself and yours, and thanks for what you are doing.

Hello David. Have you considered having Elon Musk on your show for an interview? Knowing that the orange menace and his pals monitor your show, it might be worth it in order to see the Trumpster lose his mind. Just a thought. I love your show; it is one of the few that truly feeds my "mature" brain. Keep up the good work.

Hi David, An Australian fan here (former American). I just want to know how Trump managed to suppress the Republicans in congress from voting for Ghislaine Maxwell to testify about Epstein to Congress. What was there leverage. Has anyone interviewed them? Were they threatened? There is a lot of hidden dirt there!

Why is it possible that so many issues can be included in a single bill or proposed piece of legislation. So many times legislators are of the mindset, “I oppose measures “A,” “B,” and “C,” but my constituents expect me to support measure “D,” so I have to vote in favor of the proposal that includes all four.” How did this come to be, how is it in support of good government, and can the practice be done away with?

Thanks David for all that you do. My question as a Marine veteran is why is our country afraid to look at the elephant in the room: the military industrial complex. It sucks money from domestic programs, keeps us in perpetual wars, and helps to create a deep state that thwarts democracy and justice everywhere on the planet.
