What do you think a JD Vance presidency would look like if Trump has a health crisis or is impeached and removed and can no longer serve as POTUS halfway through this term?
"There has been significant interest in U.S. agricultural land owned by Chinese investors. In 2023, 277,336 acres were linked to Chinese investors — 0.02% of all privately held U.S. agricultural land. This marks a 106,599-acre (27%) decline from the 2021 peak of 383,935 acres. Figure 6 illustrates trends in Chinese-investor-linked ownership since 2010."
Have you discussed The NewYork Times “endorsement” of Andrew Cuomo for the NYC mayoral primary, where they advise people not to vote for Zohran Mamdani? What are your thoughts on that and on the race in general?
Hopefully the Dems will win back the House next year, and then the presidency. What do you see happening to those 40% of Americans who voted for trump and bought into the lies that Dems eat babies, are evil, communist/fascist etc etc? Because I don't think they were 'always there'....they've been progressively radicalized online, and I'm not sure that they'll be instantly deprogrammed after a Dem win.
If you remove the names from both parties and look solely at their platforms, do you believe both sides of the aisle have the best interests for America. And further to this, do you believe people are mostly devoted to their political side because that was their upbringing rather than seeing the name of a candidate and seeing the good that would come out of what they are promoting? I hope that that made sense?
You can translate authoritarian strategies well because of the clear, concise way you speak and without jargon. Most Americans may not be familiar with historical parallels, but they're smart enough to understand them. Thank you
I wonder why examples aren't given showing current actions as being part of a dictator's playbook? Targeting vulnerable groups was done in the 1930's to unify other Germans. When attacks on immigrants began in 2016, it would have been good to counter that what it was. People need simple history to show how authoritarianism starts and controls false narratives. It would weaken the disinformation of autocrats. No news even mentioned fascism until a few years ago. Yet it was clear in 2016 that this was heading toward that.
Now, explaining how the thuggery of the Brown Shirts and the Black Shirts is being demonstrated again is critical for the public to understand what that context means.
Nobody ever mentions Mike Huckabee's children book on how Trump is great; it seems like a children's indoctrination recipe. I'm starting to see that elsewhere as well. How can this be countered?
We are constantly seeing different news segments where people who voted for Trump ended up getting personally screwed by his policies, be it a Latino who is getting deported (or a family member), or a Fereral enplyee who ended up getting fired, etc. Most of them don't really express buyer's remorse. The majority basically say that although Trump got this one wrong, they still support most of his policies. So why is it that not one member of the media who reports on this will ask them exactly what those policies are that they still support?
Are major media outlets discussing/asking about Iran’s current position in nuclear weapons? I ask because I’ve heard they’re nowhere near producing weapons. So why the rush to war?

I recently read that some large farms in America are owned by businesses from China. Is this true and do you know what percentage is owned?
Here's some data from 2023.

Which of these do you think is most likely to happen in your lifetime?
1) a new left-wing political party surpasses the Democratic party in popularity
2) the electoral college is abolished in favor of the popular vote
3) ranked choice voting is adopted for national elections and more than just 2 candidates are included on the ballot
I don't hear anyone talking about this. If Trump keeps ignoring the courts, what will happen?
who would arrest him? How would take him out of power? We have the FBI, CIA, Military. Would someone do SOMETHING? :) Thanks. I am so tired of this.

You seem to receive many hostile and hateful comments, and I am impressed by your honest, sincere responses. How do you cope with the hostility?

What can we realistically do to make people feel less isolated and therefore less prone to be seduced by the MAGA party?

How close is Trump using the Insurrection Act to suspend mid term elections
I saw a video from MD that showed police escorting the protesters. Why don't the police do this in every state?
