Matt Gaetz bails on attorney general nomination
Matt Gaetz’s nomination for Attorney General collapsed following allegations of a second sexual encounter with a 17-year-old, forcing him to step down. Trump issued a vague statement praising Gaetz but quickly pivoted to nominate Pam Bondi as his replacement. Gaetz’s resignation has sparked confusion, with questions about whether he might still serve in Congress since he was recently reelected. This turmoil reflects broader issues within the Republican Party which can’t get on the same page ahead of Trump’s second administration.
SHRINKAGE: Trump's victory shrivels into a tiny embarrassment
Donald Trump’s 2024 victory, touted as a landslide, is far from a true mandate. His margin has shrunk to 1.6 percentage points and 2.5 million votes, smaller than Hillary Clinton’s 2016 popular vote win. Despite lacking a majority, Republicans use this narrative to justify controversial policies and appointments. Critics note the hypocrisy, as Republicans dismissed Barack Obama’s much larger victories while demanding deference to Trump’s narrow win. This lack of a clear majority highlights the need to resist an agenda unsupported by most Americans.
From yesterday’s show:
OOPS: JD Vance PANIC DELETES disastrous tweet
J.D. Vance faced backlash after accidentally revealing that Donald Trump was considering firing FBI Director Christopher Wray, a detail that hadn't been made public. Vance's tweet, which criticized Grace Chong for calling him out over his absence during a vote, also hinted at Trump's plans to hire a new FBI director who would dismantle the "Deep State." The tweet caused immediate blowback, leading Vance to delete it. This incident, along with other transition-related chaos, suggests that Trump's second term could be even more tumultuous than his first.
From yesterday’s show:
Nikki Haley SLAMS Trump's Tulsi pick, but SHE'S TO BLAME
Nikki Haley criticized Donald Trump’s nomination of Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence, citing Gabbard’s controversial stances, such as siding with adversaries like Russia and Iran and her defense of Bashar al-Assad. While Haley’s critique is fact-based, it ignores her own role in enabling Trump by endorsing him despite previously calling him unfit. Critics argue Haley and other Republicans share blame for Trump’s controversial decisions, including this nomination. Her failure to acknowledge this complicity undermines her otherwise strong analysis of Gabbard’s flaws.

Kamila winning the 28 primaries? Please don’t make me throw up!
Harris and the DNC should be ashamed of themselves. After being appointed VP and the 24 candidate by Hillary Clinton and blowing a cool billion dollars Kamala has lost to a complete bonehead, con artist and criminal . Kamila could not handel her run for the top of the ticket in 2020, nor the race just now against the most despicable candidate for office I have seen in my lifetime, and I have seen many!
Kamila could not carry one critical State, as far as I’m concerned Kamila could not carry a bucket of water… Kamila please have the decency to go away, let democracy flourish, let the people decide…
Go camping with Oprah, pitch a tent with Hillary, give the billion back to the poor suckers who walked around Pennsylvania and every other State in the Union….just go away!
