Trump ADMITS to fraud at courthouse, TOTALLY NUTS
Former President Donald Trump faced another challenging day in court in New York City regarding a fraud lawsuit, and it didn't go in his favor. Trump appeared to inadvertently admit to the very fraud he denies committing. He stated outside the courthouse that Mar-a-Lago was worth $1.5 billion, which, if accurate, would result in significant property tax implications. The circular argument arose that the Trump brand's value was based on falsely inflated property values, which, in turn, were inflated due to the brand's worth. Trump argued that financial institutions should have done their due diligence, claiming he had warned them not to rely on him. However, legal experts disagree that this works as a defense. One of Trump’s lawyers appeared visibly uncomfortable during his speech, realizing that his off-the-cuff comments were making his job more difficult. Despite Trump saying he plans to testify in this case, many believe it would be a disastrous decision for him to do so given the risk of perjury and self-incrimination. Trump's courtroom appearances are becoming increasingly bizarre, and foreshadow how he will behave in his four upcoming criminal trials.
Lunatic Republicans demanding Trump for Speaker of the House!
On his Fox News show, Sean Hannity delved into a rather unconventional political scenario: the prospect of former President Donald Trump assuming the role of Speaker of the House, following the removal of Kevin McCarthy. Hannity cited sources claiming support for this idea within House Republican circles, emphasizing the absence of a legal requirement for the Speaker to be a member of the House. Notably, this concept gained traction among several Republicans, with figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jim Jordan voicing their support for Trump as Speaker. Greene cited Trump's presidential record and proposed that he could "make America great again" if elected as Speaker, paving the way for a subsequent second tenure as president. This ongoing debate within the GOP raises questions about the practicality of Trump taking on the role of Speaker, given he denied having any interest in the role back in January, and now has to deal with numerous legal entanglements and a presidential campaign.

LOL: Trump trial doesn't have a jury because Trump didn't ask for one
At his civil court case in New York, Donald Trump expressed frustration over not having a jury trial, seemingly unaware that his own lawyer, Alina Habba, had mistakenly declined a jury trial by checking a box on the paperwork. This revelation highlights the challenges faced by Trump in assembling a legal team, as many lawyers are hesitant to represent him due to his history of not paying them. The situation underscores that it was not the judge denying Trump a jury, but rather his own legal team's error in the paperwork filing. This incident exemplifies potential issues that may arise in both civil and criminal trials involving Trump, where his legal arguments in the public sphere often do not align with valid legal arguments in court. The entertainment factor in these legal proceedings remains high, as observers await Trump's legal strategy and its reception by the courts in the coming months.

Fox host tells record number of electric car lies per second
Charles Payne's recent remarks on Fox News exemplify the American right wing's steadfast opposition to electric vehicles (EVs). In his tirade, Payne presented a series of misleading arguments against EVs. He emphasized the environmental concerns related to mining minerals such as lithium and cobalt for EV batteries while conveniently overlooking the environmental damage wrought by oil drilling and refining. Payne made the assertion that driving an EV supports child labor in countries like the Democratic Republic of the Congo and labeled EV drivers as “slave masters.” He also ignored the potential for the electric vehicle industry to create new jobs and industries. Payne's rhetoric perpetuates misleading narratives, distracting from the pressing environmental and economic issues tied to fossil fuels and presenting a biased perspective on the EV transition.
