Deranged Lara Logan Totally Off the Rails
Lara Logan, former respectable journalist turned conspiracy theorist, went particularly off the rails this week when she reported on a man who supposedly infiltrated the global cabal at the United Nations. Logan said, “I spoke to a man who was actually holding the documents in his hand. He told me about it, right? He said he infiltrated the global cabal at the UN level, right? And one of the things that he was able to tell me about from his own personal experience — what he witnessed himself is that these documents that show that the plan, there is a plan, and this was several years ago, right? The plan was to infiltrate 100 million illegal immigrants and at that point, they were already at 40 million.” These are great replacement theory talking points with slightly less eloquent language than what we’re used to hearing from people like Tucker Carlson. It’s also a predictable conclusion for Lara Logan’s career which has been off the deep end now for years.
Herschel Walker Packs Stage with Sheriffs to Show Off Fake Police Badge
Herschel Walker spoke to an audience at a campaign event and he packed the stage full of sheriffs to give credibility to the idea that he carries around and flashes a fake police badge. Really, Walker should feel ashamed and guilty over this routine he’s been pulling off since he’s been pretending to be a law enforcement officer. Instead, with three weeks to go before election day, he’s pulling stunts like this. Herschel flashed his badge on stage, prompting the actual law enforcement officers alongside him to show theirs. Walker said, “I’m going to always support them and stuff and I want to thank them for all that they do.” It’s astonishing to believe that Herschel Walker actually has a shot in this race, but he’s only down an average of two or three points to Raphael Warnock.
From yesterday’s show:
STUNNING: UK Prime Minister Resigns After 43 Days!
British Prime Minister Liz Truss has announced her resignation just six weeks after assuming office. It quickly became clear that Truss would have a difficult time as prime minister after she decided to hire Finance Minister Kwsai Kwarteng who proposed cutting taxes for the rich in a way that torpedoed bond markets. Even an attempt at u-turning from the proposal was not enough to prevent her early ousting. Truss was defiant until the very end, trying to command the support of her party. But then in her resignation speech, she said, “given this situation, I cannot deliver the mandate on which I was elected by the Conservative Party. I have therefore spoken to His Majesty the King, to notify him that I am resigning as leader of the Conservative Party.” Truss will be the shortest-serving PM in the UK’s history, easily surpassing George Canning who died in office after 119 days in 1827. The leadership replacement is expected to happen within the next week.
From yesterday’s show:
WOW: Mike Pence Won't Say He'll Vote Trump 2024
Former Vice President Mike Pence was asked whether he would support another run by Donald Trump and he didn’t say yes. Instead, Pence responded, “well, there might be somebody else I’d prefer more,” which he followed up with a goofy smile getting the audience to golf clap. Of course, Mike is referring to a presidential run of his own. Pence apparently wants to become the leader of the party that tried to get him hanged at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. This is being presented as another instance of Pence turning on Trump but it’s extremely tepid for someone who got thrown under the bus as badly as he did. Predictably, the former VP appears far behind Trump and Ron DeSantis in 2024 polls and betting markets.
