I’m sure that most of those negative comments are from bots. The ones that are actually from people are because you are basically hitting the nail on the head and they get angry because you’re speaking truth to power!

I 100% agree as a white woman in my 50s, this is my chance to do something for this nation. And that people who are putting themselves in peril, particularly in front of organizations like ICE that simply do not care about any type of law…

This is my job. And I encourage all of my friends who are of a similar position to do the same. ❤️

Agree! I am in my 70’s, so if not me , who then. I feel such a responsibility for the future generations, for my children and grandchildren. I love when Heather inferred that letting her/me/us go before to shield or buffer/ to protect. This woman is certainly someone I have tremendous respect for. She is a treasure of intelligence, knowledge. TY.

This is such a wonderful conversation between you two. I would love to hear more of these with you both on a more regular basis. Thank you Heather for talking about the step up roll that middle-aged white women have right now. I'm in that category and I'm putting myself out there.

Heather is making me cry. As a woman of color, and an the first generation American in my family, I've been saying that unless all white women, grandma's, men stand linked arm in arm in front of us facing ICE, we are doomed.

Thank you Heather for saying it out loud for me. Thank you thank you thank you.

Heard you interview HCR . Very well done. I’m in. I subscribed to your Substack. Heather helps me keep a better perspective on the Trump madness, and helps me feel more courageous and have more peace of mind in these chaotic times. Keep up the good work! 🩷🙏🏼🌹

Katie… a granny in Maine.

PS:

Iam very happy and encouraged, to listen to your generation. It gives me hope for the world my grands will be adults in, and my children will be grandparents in, assuming God willing we prevail.

Brilliant talk. As an older white woman, I've got my directives to get in front. Thank you both!

Heather, this was a informative discussion with David Pakman. Everyone who believes in Democracy must get involved to save the American people.

Would love to see Heather discuss the influence of John Locke on the Foubders. I know she's probably done this but I've never seen it and I think it's really important to remember as our system is being turned upside down!

Thank you David and Heather. I'll never forget seeing some of Trump's goons grabbing older people in wheel chairs from some gathering. They didn't seem to care but it made me assume they were "chickens" who would have run away had big strong, health men appeared.

Heather, My day always starts with reading your Letter. I constantly repost on Facebook because it's always such important information. You have inspired this 73 year old white woman to get involved. I have participated in three protests so far, one was in little Southwest Harbor, Maine while I was on vacation! I was amazed at the number of people. I'm not sure how much it helps, but it sure makes me feel good. Thank you so much for what you do! You are really helping me keep my sanity in these distressing times.

What an honest, poignant episode! Thank you, Professor Richardson, for sharing with us your “origin story.” They did indeed “create” you, as happens with all the best super heroes and sheroes. Thank you, Ma’am!
