Did You NUKE BACK YouTube's Algorithm?
The David Pakman Show YouTube audience has pulled through for us, as views and subscribers are returning to the channel after several days of low traffic due to suspected changes to the algorithm. Until recently, revenue for the channel was down by 60-70% since January 9th. Many of our videos were only getting a couple of thousand views, despite the channel having 1.6 million subscribers. So we reached out to the audience and asked everyone to search for “David Pakman,” subscribe to the channel, and like and comment on the videos. It appears as though this may have retrained the algorithm to recommend our content to people. Other channels in the online progressive media space also have experienced the same problem recently and hopefully, it gets fixed for everyone soon.
Pumpkin-Orange Trump Gives Sweaty Slurring Orders to Republicans
Donald Trump released a video this week wherein he gave his marching orders to House Republicans now that they have taken control of Congress’s lower chamber. One of the things Trump focused on is the new House Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, which they believe is a chance to expose corruption in politics and the media. Trump also said he wants to look at the origins (or oranges) of the Russia investigation. He said in the video, “the fake Steele dossier was first published, because they knew it was fake, and they knew that some time there'd be a guy like Trump that wants to go after them. How many fake news journalists [have] been paid or compensated by U.S. government agencies directly or indirectly, for their role in spreading domestic disinformation like the FBI did with Twitter? Who orchestrated the FBI's repeated operations to interfere in domestic politics?” It seems as though Trump’s influence on the Republican Party is making a resurgence, so House Republicans will likely be willing to listen to his directions.
From yesterday’s show:
Classified Documents Found at Mike Pence's House
A lawyer for former Vice President Mike Pence recently discovered a dozen classified documents at Mike Pence's Indiana home. These documents have now been turned over to the FBI for review. The exact details of the documents, their level of sensitivity, or other details are not clear at this point. Pence had previously stated that there are no classified documents in his possession. The former VP said previously about the controversy as it pertained to Donald Trump and Joe Biden, “our staff reviewed all of the materials in our office and in our residence to ensure that there were no classified materials that left the White House or remained in our possession and I remain confident that that was done in a thorough and careful way.” The very same people who were criticizing Biden about having classified documents in his possession are now silent on the matter as it pertains to Trump and Pence.
From yesterday’s show:
They Put Marjorie Taylor Greene & Trump's Lunatic Doctor on Coronavirus Committee
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has blocked Democrats Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell from serving on the House Intelligence committee. The move is seen as a way for Republicans to get retribution against Schiff and Swalwell, whom they don’t like because they both have a history of investigating Donald Trump. When it comes to Republicans, McCarthy has allowed people like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar back onto their respective committees. Additionally, he has put MTG and former Trump doctor Ronny Jackson on a new committee investigating the government’s response to COVID-19. These decisions are clearly a way to grandstand and deliver red meat to the Republican base that wants to punish Democrats and spend the next two years investigating nonsense.

Regardless of the Republicans taking control of the House, it won't affect the rest of us who would never vote for Trump in the next election. The people who are applauding these changes are the same people who voted for him in 2020, and he lost big-time. In fact, the more damage that they do will actually HELP our side because it will make them look even MORE stupid come election day. There are even more (additional) people who have come to despise him since he left office. Nothing has changed since the last election. And he has lost the support of all minority groups.
