As a Canadian, I shake my head at the unbelievable complexity of the U.S. government system. Electing the president separately from Congress and the senate, so they may be at odds with each other. The idea of electoral votes instead of popular votes deciding who will be president. It's no wonder your country is called a "failed democracy". In my opinion, the parliamentary system is far superior.
