There is a tipping point when everyone realizes Trump is over. Even then he will maintain a 20% to 30% following, because that is the nature of our country. You will know this tipping point has occurred when:
Most Republicans in congress turn on him, enabling 2/3 over-ride of any veto.
Most media openly discuss his illegality and the corruption of SCOTUS that allowed it.
Most media openly discuss his Dementia.
Employees of the Federal government disobey unlawful commands.
States start arresting ICE and other federal agents who violate their laws.

We are not there yet, but daily we are getting closer. The pressure is building and people are waking up, feeling the situation is 'wrong'. Sure, they are being told it is alright, but small crowds mean fewer people are motivated to support Trump enough to go to his rally. They may still say they support him in a poll, where no effort is required, but these transitions do not happen all at once. It takes time for a person to realize something is wrong, and longer to recognize they made a bad choice.
Eventually, after the tipping point, it will get harder and harder to find people willing to admit they ever supported him.
Well of course, but expect them to try to change their tune before that election, relying on voters short term memory, as well as the voters political identity and willingness to believe it is OK to vote for their favoire party again. Democrats need to be merciless about pushing video etc reminding voters of the politicians positions 'when it mattered'. Most voters do not pay attention to politics like we do, and long term memories fade over time unless frequently refreshed. How do you think Trump got re-elected? They heard his lies and wanted to believe them.
We need to tell better, bigger promises, but actually mean them, with a plan to make them happen.

Yes, but we are ALL responsible. We can not fall into the trap of 'waiting for someone to save us'. The number of things that need to be done are far too large for any candidate to put on their bumper sticker. It took 'Project 2025' to effectively bring us the destruction they intended, but it will take far more to build what we need, not merely to rebuild, but to build it better, to change that which needed changing for decades, what the people NEED changed (we are talking some big stuff here), as well as build in better safeguards and plans to permanently fix SCOTUS, correct past wrongs and bring legal consequences on those who need it. Simple start would be to fire ALL of ICE. Border patrol needs to be revamped, clean house. FIRE every single Trump hire, aggressively using the powers SCOTUS gives to Trump. And that is just some of what needs to be started the first week in 2029.
Maybe a tag, a name for such a movement: "Make America Yours" with the word MAY worked into most sentences. I have never been the best at names, but the beauty of a name is it can mean what you need it to mean. We then need to establish what it means.

We cannot depend on honor or honorable men and women to service because very few honorable people are to become part of the Swamp/district of corruption/beltway bandits. The only peaceful way to force accountability among these house and Senate millionaires to require them sign a binding contract not just similar from what a soldier is required to sign. If these criminals refuse to be held accountable by contract, then they need to find some other scam to get involved in. Personally, at first I suspected it was simple admiration for a very successful 'bully', then I thought it was because he figured it was how you treat someone helping you, then it seemed it was because Trump was feeingling accused of 'cheating', or needing Russian help to win, but over time it became obvious the MANY very private meetings with no other american in the room, the pattern of never saying a bad word about Putin when Trump has said a bad word about nearly everybody else in the entire world.
