Many who are insisting they've never been to the island aren't stating if they've been involved with him in some other location, like Zorro. It remained open functioning till his death. Maybe it would placate the Iranians if trump was put in jail, where he belongs. He started an illegal war. And everything that he’s done in the last 15 months has been illegal. There are so many charges that could be brought against him, not just in this presidential term, but before it. He never was sentenced on his 30+ child rape/assault convictions.
I hate the guy but I don't think he was found guilty of "30+ child rape/assault convictions." He was found guilty in a criminal trial of 34 counts of fraud related to his payments to Stormy Daniels. And he was found guilty in a civil trial for SA against E. Jean Carroll in two separate civil cases. But, yes, the court in the fraud case related to payments to Stormy Daniels has suspended his sentencing until he is out of the WH, which, I think, is the primary reason he never wants to cede the presidency. And yes, to the imprisonment that would satisfy the Iranians and many others around the world and in our country! We'd have to get the SCOTUS to agree that he can be charged and tried with criminal and civil crimes while he's POTUS.
I looked up his convictions just now (a little late I admit) and you’re right, his 30+ convictions were for fraud. As far as his rape/assaults go, I found 4 cases against him just before this term as president. Apparently he was found guilty in 3 of them, but 2 federal cases were dropped when he became president because of a law saying that you can’t try a sitting president. The other conviction was put on hold until he is no longer president and the 4th case was still in the trial stage when he became president. From what I found there are 16 assault/rape cases filed against him that will have to wait until he is no longer president, before they proceed. Unless he pardons himself.

I think Heritage Foundation is who truly pushed for Vance as VP…and trump needing their donor money etc, picked him at the suggestion of Heritage. Though the rumor is that Vance was pushed by Eric/Don jr, but maybe they too were made promises or given money etc from Heritage to push hard for Vance to their dad??
My sneaking suspicion is that Heritage doesn’t really like trump, but simply see him as we all do, a useful idiot towards the much bigger plan.
Trump’s only usefulness is to win another election. Getting Heritage what it ultimately wants, Vance in the WH.

The election came and went and nothing seems to have come to fruition as forecast. Maybe a rethink is in order looking forward to '26 and '28.
