We could restore the rule of law and the republic but that would take hard work and it will get ugly and the ruling class that sometimes gets called a deep state and the shadow government is too powerful and entrenched to go away on their own. They have metastasized like cancer. They’re like parasites slowly killing the host. I don’t even know if the host will survive if they are removed because the cure might also kill the host.
This would not have happened if we had liberty and justice for all.
This would not have happened if our government was truly held accountable. Nothing holds our government officials accountable but they will tell you as they puff their chests and proclaimed that they pledged an oath to the constitution. The problem with that is it takes honor to honor and oath. Most of them have no honor or not enough honor.
They need to be held accountable with a written contract. The people with the most power should be held to the highest standards of accountability. We all know that that’s not the case. Do you know which Americans are held to a higher standard than our government officials? The answer is everybody else.
Historically bad governments get removed by a coup or revolution or uprising. That can get really ugly. The only way I can think of is for a silent coup orchestrated by the. The American military is imperfect but they have more honor than politicians. The military courts have more honor than civilian courts. The soldier signed a contract in order to get into the club and if they violate that contract they have to deal with the consequences. There are no consequences for the filthy Rich and the government serves them. That’s the only thing I can think of that could get rid of the criminals and press the reset button. Maybe it would work?
